~The FReeper Canteen Presents~ Road Trip: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama Redstone Arsenal (RSA) is a United States Army post adjacent to Huntsville in Madison County, Alabama, United States and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. The Arsenal is a garrison for a number of tenants including the United States Army Materiel Command, Army's Aviation and Missile Command, the Missile Defense Agency of the Department of Defense, and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. Originally a chemical weapons manufacturing facility for World War II, the arsenal became the focal point of the Armys rocket and space projects, including development of the first U.S. ballistic missiles and space launch vehicles in the 1950s. Redstone Arsenal remains the center of testing, development, and doctrine for the Army's missile programs. Besides the U.S. Army Materiel Command and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command, Redstone houses the Tactical UAV Project Office, Redstone Test Center (RTC), the Missile Defense Agency, the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, and other operations.
After operating as a tenant on Redstone Arsenal for over half a century, the Ordnance Munitions and Maintenance School was moved to Fort Lee, Virginia.
Redstone Arsenal continues to host the Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA's field center for propulsion analysis and development, which developed the Saturn rocket family in the 1960s and propulsion systems for the Space Shuttle in the 1970s and '80s.

Morning Beachie! Ouch, 3 teeth? I bet you’re glad that is over. Got pain pills? I know you financial types are busy this time of year. I hope your day is wonderous and painless!

Good morning Pro ((HUGS))
Yeah, triple ouch! And the needle in the infected area was the worst part.
Didn’t want pain pills; took Aleve. Did get antibods for infection.
Yup, us financial types cannot afford to take off so here I am. LOL
Just wish they’d let me work from home.
What kind of SUV you looking at?

It is getting cooler but actually it's also humid out there. They're forecasting near 90 sometime this week.
And, if we're lucky we may get some rain from a dying Pacific hurricane this weekend. We'll see.
Bo found another turtle to play with. We had a great time out at the lake.

It’s cooler here with some humidity still around. And we’re slated for warmer weather by the weekend, as well.

Yep . . . in the early years here when we only had the main channels, life before cable tv . . . they’d go full coverage when the weather entered the AL/MS border and stayed on until they hit the AL/GA state line . .. which could make for a long day with two little ones at home. I’d love to build a new home with a safe room. A big one, complete with bunk beds, sofa, and floor to ceiling bookcases to store photo albums and stuff like that. :)
Nice place to raise a family.

Hope you do too! It’s stopped here for now, but still cool and a bit humid, which keeps what we got from evaporating too fast. :)
