Theres a new semi-automatic handgun on the horizon for the Army that U.S. consumers may have access to almost immediately. When that happens, Americas emergency rooms better be prepared for the carnage thats likely to follow.
Today, during a so-called industry day, the U.S. Army is briefing arms manufacturers on its requirements for a new handgun, The Atlantic reported yesterday. Several gun makers will compete for the lucrative contract.

Uh, WHAT? I just stumbled on to this "article" from back in July of this year. What an inane piece of feces. Do you "actually own multiple firearms"? "Actually"? What. Of course this comes from across the pond and the writer is obviously a clueless idiot writing about something she knows absolutely nothing about. Hey, but we all know carnage sells. Right?
It’s not the gun that does the damage. It’s the bullets after they leave the gun.
“Those blimey stupid Yanks and their weapons of destruction.” Yeah, well that’s why I can walk into any neighborhood in America and not worry I’ll never get out. Can’t say that in Europe any more.
Well this won’t stand. Lets send our soldiers into battle with pointy sticks instead.
Apparently they prefer their version. I think they call it “beheaders gone wild”...
Not to mention that if you’re using a semi-auto or even a full-auto, those ejected casings can burn a little bit if they happen to find their way down your shirt. ow, ow, ow, ow. I went to a one day class at Front Sight a few years back and some gal, thinking she was Rambette, came all dressed in black/white/grey camo with a matching tank top. A few 9mm spent casings from an Uzi found their way to an uncomfortable location. ow, ow, ow, ow.
Well, she is british don’t you know. Maybe related to pierce moron. Tut tut. Cheerio.
Yeah, I know. Kinda weird how that works huh. Not a lot of crime in my neighborhood. Hmmmmmm. Maybe the “NO warning shots will be fired due to ammo shortage” signs are getting the point across.

Now that’s what the f&^% I’m talking about.
lol When my father was in Vietnam, he was in just the right location near his ‘60 gunner’, and he got a load of brass from it all down into his clothes. Even though he was being shot at, he broke cover and jumped into some water. I guess being burned like that will ‘make you do things’. He said he thought he was gonna catch on fire. LOL
Me likey. But I’d hire somebody to load the drums for me. :>}
Blathering on about things they know nothing about is a woman’s prerogative.
Now we know why there is an ammo shortage.
Well, for once I can't be blamed for any of this... I haven't bought any more guns in the past few years. But I don't know??? I suspect that the author would consider a few dozen guns and enough lead, powder and primers to reload the brass I have a couple hundred thousand times to be excessive. I won't be inviting her over for tea any time soon.
Why? Is the Army going to buy some P.O.S. that's likely to blow up?
Stupid author.
The article talks about more patients coming in with multiple gunshot wounds starting in the 1980s and the rise of semi automatics. Hmmm... It seems to me that the givernment (generally speaking including all levels) starting trying to ban/limit the sale of so-called Saturday night specials.
Unintended consequences....
LOL. A lot like the guy who’s mowing his lawn, runs into a hidden nest of yellow jackets, jump off his tractor, and dives into his swimming pool.
Arsenal-ist. Maybe that could be coined a new term for someone who has more than one firearm and more than one round of ammo.
