This evil has infected “mainline” church related institutions.
For example, applicants for positions with Lutheran Social Services are required to fill out an on-line “survey” which is really a self-checking personality inventory. About a quarter of the questions pertain to the applicant’s appreciation or lack thereof for “diversity”.
The next version will probably be more specific as to the type of “diversity”.
I was adopted through Lutheran Social Services, but that was 1960, so I’m guessing much has changed.

Really? I’ve recently applied for a job with Lutheran Social Services (long story, but suffice to say that I think I can do some good from within. That and I need the money.) and they never gave me that kind of questionnaire.
