ACTUALLY TITLE (TRUNCATED TO FIT): Rotherham abuse scandal: Grandfather of victim tells police chief: 'If I had a gun I would shoot you'
Victims of child sex abuse in Rotherham confronted beleaguered police and crime commissioner Shaun Wright on Thursday as he faced angry calls from members of the public to resign.
The victims accused Mr Wright of turning a blind eye to their suffering, while the grandfather of one young girl branded him a disgrace and threatened to shoot him when he appeared to answer questions at a meeting of South Yorkshire's Police and Crime Panel.
The man, who said his granddaughter was abused by four men who were later let off by police, shouted from the public gallery: You were a disgrace, mate. If I had a gun I would shoot you."
Later the panel, set up to scrutinise the work of the PCC, passed a vote of no confidence in Mr Wright. It said it had also referred two complaints about him to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
The IPCC, which can investigate PCCs if there is evidence they may have committed a crime, said it was assessing the referrals before deciding whether to proceed with an inquiry.

It breaks my heart to see some FReepers defending the authorities who covered up the mass rape of children.
If the Brits had a second amendment Rotherham never would have happened.
No doubt in my mind either. But some here insist that nobody should be angry with them, because they aren’t muslims.
Who has defended them and what did they say?
Can you realm say it is different in the US?
I pray that Brits will rise up and fight.
And even if the flower of British manhood died in WWII (and WWI and going back to the 100 Years War), the Brits can be vicious warriors.
The muslims have greatly underestimated western men. Even European man can be reduced to a poverty of moral restraint. And what is left is a fearsome creature.
Muslims think that they are fighting this modern man--like some army of John Kerrys and Barack Obamas.
How incredibly wrong they are. When Christians and Jews finally decide this is a "just war"...the muslim world will wish it had never open this Pandora's Box.
Thx.
The state is a dangerous nanny.
I hope we are looking at a watershed moment here.
Scales are falling from eyes in Britain, the U.S., Oz, and Canada re: these muzzie child molesters.
And that is why Lords don’t want serfs to own guns.
Only very slightly.
Getting closer, but not close enough yet. I can't understand what's taking the West so long. Our federal police arrested two men yesterday in Brisbane for recruiting and sending funds to ISIS. Meanwhile, a few miles away, a council granted permission for the construction of a mosque over the objections of the locals. What do they think islam is? Just another peaceful religion? /s. The learning process is going to be long, difficult and bloody.

Nah, shoot ‘em both. That police chief was nothing but traitor to his own countrymen. People like him must be swept away if that country is to survive
I feel like the tipping point is near. But I have been wrong before.;-)
from the comments:
While the Bulletin publishes a story calling protesters “ Rednecks” , Federal police only 40 km up the road are busy arresting two men at an Islamic centre on charges relating to funding Islamists in Australia to travel to the Middle East
Too late. The UK took away your guns and blunted the pointy end of your knives. Live safe.

The Ashfield gang rapes were a series of attacks involving indecent assault and rape of possibly as many as eighteen teenaged women of varying ethnic backgrounds which were carried out in Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia in late 2001 and over a six-month period in 2002.[1] A group of four Pakistani brothers and a Nepali student were convicted and imprisoned for the rapes.[2]
Their crimes are similar to the Sydney gang rapes by Lebanese-Australian men led by Bilal Skaf. One of the victims alleged that the rapists referred to the Lebanese rapes during the crime. Many of the crimes were videotaped by the perpetrators; the tapes were used as evidence in the trial.
The four K brothers are the children of a Sydney general practitioner, Dr Hasan K, of Pakistani origin. They had grown up in Pakistan and had been brought to Sydney in 2000 by their doting father, who provided them with a house in Ashfield. He unsuccessfully attempted in court to provide an alibi for his sons, and was facing perjury charges at the time of his death in November 2006.[3][4]
Why shouldn’t those who covered up the rapes be held accountable for their behavior?
Why shouldn’t those who covered up the rapes be held accountable for their behavior?
Do you think that will be in the next 10-20 years? I'm not so sure.
