A group of Middle Eastern Christians booed Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, off the stage after speaking in support of Israel at an event in Washington, D.C.
The event, sponsored by the group In Defense of Christians, was billed as a gathering of Middle Eastern Christian leaders.
They were trying to raise awareness about the threat to Arab minorities by the Islamic terrorists.
Cruz spoke about Christian solidarity with Israel and standing against terrorist groups like ISIS.
But some in the crowd were Palestinian Christian supporters of the Syrian government and even the terrorist group Hezbollah.
"Those who hate Israel hate America," Cruz began before being interrupted by jeering from the audience.

"My heart weeps that the men and women here will not stand in solidarity with Jews and Christians alike who are persecuted by radicals," he responded.
At one point, the moderator interrupted, saying, "Please, respect for dialogue. Respect. Please, we're in America."
Undeterred, Cruz said "If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you. Thank you and God bless you."
I am not at all surprised by this. Pali Christians are some of the biggest Israel haters out there. Pali Christians are behind Sabeel, which has been infiltrating U.S. mainline churches with anti-Israel propaganda.
Then they are NOT Christians......................
NOT all “christians” are indeed christians..
Does this mean that being an Arab comes before being a Christian?
>> Undeterred, Cruz said “If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you. Thank you and God bless you.”
Hell, yeah.
Politicians worry about stuff like that.
Statesmen do not.
Stockholm Syndrome, I guess. I have noticed that Arab Christians who have been in the US for generations remain anti-semitic. The Danny Thomas Family, George Noory, people like that. It’s crazy.
Fun fact, the founder of the Ba’ath Party, which supports Pan-Arab Nationalism was a Christian.
He did so to stress the Arab identity, as he thought it would spare Christian Arabs from persecution.
Don’t forget that the Arabs trace their ancestry back to Ishmael. The family feud goes waaaay back.................
The crowd was more tailored for a Ron/Rand Paul event.
“Palestinian Christians” are one of the most successful mythologies the liberal media has pushed. If you think the Holy Land should be occupied by Muslims, then you are not Christian.
This is a massive attack on Ted Cruz by the media, who are reporting it only as Cruz being booed without any context or as Cruz attacking middle eastern Christians.
Cruz deserves better
Can’t understand how Arab Christians could support a muslim terrorist group like Hamas.
Had they been caught on the plains in northern Iraq, they would have had to convert or get their throats cut or be subjected to both.
Bet they are leftists too.
Sadly I’ve heard a Christian on the radio embrace the replacement theology. Last time I heard him, he was very hostile to Israel while all compassionate toward the palis.
Leftists....absolutely. Most of what we’re seeing on this story is straight out of liberal anti-Semitic, anti-Christian playbooks.
And he shall be as a wild ass among men; his hand'shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell over against all his brethren. ... Genesis 16: 12
Goes back to Ishmael/Isaac...............
