God Bless George W. Bush, Richard Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld for keeping America safe and a beacon of liberty for eight solid years. The hussein/holder/jarrett cabal has undone all of the substantial gains made from 2001-2008.

“Hash tag air raid”. I wonder if that hurts as much as having SecState wag his finger at you. Oh, the horror!

They'd spent five years trashing it. They and their friends in the media had spent five years telling the American people that Iraq was a total boondoggle, a mistake.

And now they are going to spend the next two years trying to get us back to where we were when Bush left office.

I think that if history is going to judge George W. Bush negatively with regards to Iraq, it’s going to be his idea of having a democratic Iraqi government. Muslims do not understand democracy, and the resulting Shiite government was pro-Iran, while not being particularly fond of America. I would have thought that a secular autocrat (ideally Kurdish, but that may not have been workable) who was pro-America would have been a better choice; any attempts to Islamify the government would have been quickly and mercilessly squashed, and the government would remain anti-Iran and anti-Syria.

Despite George W Bush overestimating the competence of the Iraqis, it’s better than deliberately encouraging both ISIS and Iran to reduce American influence in the Middle East, as Hussein Soetoro has done.

In 2002 we had our foot on the neck of a vicious dictator who had his foot on the neck of far more dangerous muzzie fundie hordes.

In my opinion we’ve never been in a better situation in Iraq strategically, tactically and pragmatically (bang-for-the-buck) than we were in 2002.

It’s also my very strong opinion that Iraq-II — as noble an undertaking as it indeed was — was the material cause, the formal cause, the efficient cause and the final cause of the Muslim Presidency of Baraq The King Obama.

And one more nit-pick: On 9/12/2001, President Bush had upwards of 85% of America behind him. He could have used that political capital to CLOSE THE SOUTHERN BORDER OF THE UNITED STATES.

A missed opportunity of immense historical proportions.
