Ain't that nice. Besides, only the "right" people in d.c. can have guns with very few exceptions. So, if d.c. were to become the 51st state, would ehn be one of the senators from there?

I’ve always believed that congress should not be permitted to conduct business for that period of time.

Of course I am not surprised, politicians inheritly fear an armed citizenry. Never forget, Washington DC is the only American city under the complete control of the federal government,therefore an armed populace there is a nearer and greater danger to the federal ruling class.
