Half of all bird species in North America including the bald eagle are at risk of severe population decline by 2080 if the swift pace of global warming continues, the National Audubon Society concluded in a study released Monday.
"The scale of the disruption we're projecting is a real punch in the gut," said Gary Langham, chief Audubon scientist.
Langham led an Audubon study that examined more than 500 bird species and determined that more than 300 in Canada and the United States face large climate shifts that could reduce their habitat by half or more by 2080.

Over 99% of the species that ever existed are extinct.
I guess evolution is only good when it fits your narrative.

And the rest of the bird species are being chopped up by windmills or incinerated by solar farms.

What climate change? It has not warmed in nearly 20 years!

Good. The Bald Eagle is a symbol of US imperialism, hegemony and just plain bullying.

Thank you to the LA Times. I personally feel responsible for this. I will never live down the guilt. I will be certain that my children will share in my guilt, too.

Climate change, but not wind farms or acres and acres of mirrors.

Its not like the birds can fly further north. This is serious.

I am an endangered species. By the year 2080, my population will drop to zero. That’s my concern.

As I think about it,
I'm at risk of serious population decline by 2080.
Darn you global cooling warming climate change!

No, they will not. I read an article a couple of years ago about how the increase in CO2 would make poison ivy grow quicker to try to scare people. The article failed to mention that ALL plants grow quicker when CO2 is increased.

That’s what they said about the polar bears, and they’re thriving. The birds can always fly/migrate to a more suitable climate, that is, if the wind turbines and solar panels don’t get them first.
