a longtime Chisholm subordinate reveals for the first time in this article that the district attorney may have had personal motivations for his investigation. Chisholm told him and others that Chisholms wife, Colleen, a teachers union shop steward at St. Francis high school, a public school near Milwaukee, had been repeatedly moved to tears by Walkers anti-union policies in 2011, according to the former staff prosecutor in Chisholms office. Chisholm said in the presence of the former prosecutor that his wife frequently cried when discussing the topic of the union disbanding and the effect it would have on the people involved She took it personally.
Citing fear of retaliation, the former prosecutor declined to be identified and has not previously talked to reporters.
Chisholm added, according to that prosecutor, that he felt that it was his personal duty to stop Walker from treating people like this.

Please quit slurring cockroaches. (snicker)
Those WI teachers also thought they deserved free passes (time off with pay) during all of the Walker protests. I remember (watching on TV) them all lining up to get their FAKE Dr’s notes. They were busted, but probably got the paid, regardless.
His kitty must have a big whip.
Colleen Chisholm obviously isn’t capable of thinking for herself so she needs the security blanket of a union goon to do her thinking for her. Wonder if the goon held her hand every day.
he probably has the best shot which is why he’s getting the Palin treatment.
public schools need all the help they can get, even divine intervention....actually, St. Francis is a suburb of Milwaukee
Cheers!
Even if this is true, it’s scummy that Chisholm would rationalize his actions by using his wife’s “angst” as an excuse to go after Walker now that it’s clear that this was a political witch hunt.
Chisholm is Stasi scum. Maybe someday, someone will SWAT team his home.

Or Fort Walton, or Navarre.... ;)
If I had been on that Jury I would have voted to acquit...to have to pass judgment on what was meant by the supposed “wink wink nod nod” behavior of the governor and wife as presented by a OBAMA/HOLDER run prosecution would put me into the position of God almighty...or at least a competent mind reader. This was a federal case not a state case. A state case might not have even happened but the Feds decided to intervene as they have in a number of cases all in attempt to use Federal prosecution authority to cut down on the number of “deep bench” Republicans who would have a shot in the 2016 presidential campaigns. A number of these counts against McDonald will be thrown out on appeal.
This case will polarize Virginia politics for a long while and both sides will be accusing each others’ politicians for “wink wink nod nodding” for money, contracts ect. The Dem’s may have been wiser not to have push this in Virginia as I feel the politics in this state are about to become even more explosive. There may be at least a temporary public benefit of politicians on both sides becoming very “pious” at least publically when it comes to the matter of their finances though some of them may experience financial hardships. It will effect Dem’s in this state especially hard as they will be under intense local scrutiny for the same behaviors that the McDonalds were accused of.
“A pox on both houses” I would have said as a juror in the McDonald case and I would have voted to acquit. I am not a “wink wink nod nod” mind reader and the evidence presented is so nuanced and circumstantial(if it was done with this motive they’re guilty and if it was done with that motive then they’re innocent)...I would have questioned the “wink wink nod nod” motives of the Obama backed Fed prosecutors and voted to acquit!
McAuliffe has actually been caught taking money in a similar fashion but gave it back as political commentators began to criticize McAuliffe for doing a McDonald. The loan in question was offered in more of a transparent fashion and was considered legal but McAuliffe nixed the deal considering the optics of the issue.
Good. She can be named in the civil rights suit that her husband is defendant to. I’ll bet some of his victims wives were crying when their homes were raided at five in the morning. Comin’ to get ya Chisholm you Nazi.
Is that what she uses? I thought she used firecrackers.
Milwaukee DA’s wife drove the John Doe investigation — she was an upset public school teacher (unions) who didn’t like Act 10. Act 10 is the very legislation that saved 10,000 teachers’ jobs!
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
These teachers are brainwashed and brain dead.
St. Francis is the name of the town it’s in.
To be fair, we also have to blame the Law Enforcement people who conducted these raids. They should have refused to participate.
What’s the point of having a judicial system if it can’t be used for partisan political purposes, anyway?
I cried tears of JOY when Scott Walker was elected! :)
We used to visit the original ‘Old Abe’ when I was a kid; he was stuffed and in one of the upper rooms of the Capitol.
