Michelle Obama warns Republican wins ‘bad’ for Washington
The Washington Times ^ | September 9, 2014 | S.A. Miller

First lady Michelle Obama is warning Democratic voters that Washington will “be even worse” if they let Republicans win in November.

“Instead of leaders coming together on behalf of hardworking families and finding consensus on the issues that matter most, we’ll just see more conflict and more obstruction,” Mrs. Obama said at a voter registration rally Monday night in Atlanta.

She said Republican victories in places like Georgia would result in “more lawsuits and talk about impeachment, more votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act, or even shut the government down — behavior that just wastes time and wastes taxpayer dollars.”

Mrs. Obama said that the political environment had become “so bad” that Republicans were “even trying to block the work that I do on childhood obesity. And that’s really saying something.”

“Frankly,” said Ms. Obama, “if we lose these midterm elections, it’s going to be a whole lot harder to finish what we started.”

I recall being a student at IU-Bloomington when Bob Knight was basketball coach. At halftime of a lackluster game against Northwestern, he grabbed the PA microphone and berated us fans, particularly the students, for not cheering with sufficient vigor. Of course we reacted to that (I recall yelling something about him putting players on the floor who were sleepwalking).

But what really got us was when his wife Nancy got out of her seat, took the mike, and also berated us. We really went nuts over that. She wasn’t the coach. In our opinion, she had no standing to complain.

I see the same thing here. The past two democrat first ladies need to be reminded that their names were not on any ballot. They don’t hold any office.

Stolen shamelessy from Mr. Hammer:

In the wealthiest nation on the planet, kids go hungry due to a fat-*ss in the White House who eats like a Budweiser Clydesdale.

In short, Mooch thinks that what is good for Washington is good for the country. It explains so much.

Well....she’s CORRECT!

A GOP win WILL be “bad for Washington”!

BUT...That is GREAT FOR AMERICA!!!

We’re not here to make the self-serving machine in D.C. happy!

I get the feeling that the Wookie has no idea just how distasteful it is for her to insert herself into the political debate as first lady. Unelected, unwanted and unwarranted. Just sad.

Has a First Lady in the history of this country ever acted like this one does? I’m really shocked.

The mooch (aka: mooch-elle) is the Worst Lady. Who ever elected her to any position of responsibility or authority? Who cares what this affirmative-action loser has to say about anything. She should just stick to stealing taxpayer money to go on vacation with her crummy family. I bet she'd look good in an orange jumpsuit and restraints. Her crimes are many.

She’s talking about wasting tax dollars?
Seriously?
Yea she knows who her audience is.
A bunch of drones and uninformed and/or evil people.

They are the two categories of people who profit from keeping democrats in power:

Democrats leave the hard working, tax paying middle class sucking muddy ditch water.

I can remember back to the Eisenhower’s and other than Hillary Clinton none have, she would be a distant second.

Speaking of rough mounts and rodeos -

Did that leather outfit ring to mind old swayback horses and smelly old worn-out saddles?
