"I think al of these restaurants that are going along with this, should put up signs.
'This establishment is completely and totally a gun free store target-rich environment for mass shootings.'
Fixed it.

I was addressing the fact that how to handle a gun should be common sense. If you read my other posts you’ll find that I also find the brand stupid to nationally announce this.

What should Newtown, CT be classified as?

I reread your post and it sure sounds like you are saying that you find open carry to be a violation of common sense. I hope that’s not what you really meant to say!

I don't live there, but based on Panera being there I would see it as a well off or upwardly mobile location.
They don't open stores YET that I've seen in lower class neighborhoods.

IIRC they opened at least one concept store in lower class area where they had no set prices to allow the “poor” to access healthy food. Not sure what happened to that.

To date, the chain hasn't had any material issues with firearms at its stores So in order to appease a bunch of left wing whiners they'll adopt a position addressing a problem they don't have.

I just mentioned it because they thought Newtown was safe until the gun massacre happened.
