Former congressman Allen West (R., Fla.) is making a statement on the right to bear arms on his right bare arm with a new tattoo. Aces High Tattoo Shop in West Palm Beach, Fla. showed off the former Republicans ink on its Instagram account over the weekend.

That is a sickness. It's an unhealthy obsession.
What is the theme of his insanity? Death? Skulls? Naked women?
Wouldn't that money and time be better spent elsewhere? Like spending it on your children rather than feeding his ego?
Bingo. I was just going to bring up that point. Most soldiers have tattoos. (I, personally, don’t know one that doesn’t.)
But, I guess, to many FReepers here, they’re just stupid trash.
It’s unfortunate you have such a low opinion of those defending this nation.
"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
Are your sideburns unshorn and do you have an uncut beard? This is part of the Mosaic Law that the believer is not under obligation to follow.
I'm also pro-life, pro-RKBA, laisse-faire Capitalist, approve of our Republican Constitution, and the States proper duties that the Feds shouldn't be interfering with.
Not that you give a crap.
I'm short and ugly. Luckily, I'm also above the mean in intelligence. Nice that you've pointed out the superficial physical characteristics as the "measure of a man".
Way to go Ace...
HA - Good One!!
I am not a big fan of tats but I do like this one. Husband also not a big fan but he has one from Nam. Sometimes tats are okay.
The new girl that was hired at the Quik Trip down the street has several visible tats - first time I looked at her I thought “hope you like working retail quik trip becase you’re not going to be able to get a job anywhere else with all those visible tats”.
So lighten up you anti-tat folks - there are a few good reasons for a tasteful tat. :)
“What is the theme of his insanity? Death? Skulls? Naked women?”
The words “Strength” and “Honor”, my name with a heart, the portrait of a historic warrior, the UNITED STATES ARMY, and a bear.
You’re a really sick individual.
Last time I checked the USMC did not require tattoos. Are you suggesting that 100% of the Marines have tats all over their bodies?
Which you prove adequately enough here...
Yeah... Ya’ got me pegged. That’s EXACTLY why I got my ink...
Or... You know... Not.
So now I can no longer play "connect the dots" with my wife's freckles? Another day, another measure of the fun sucked out of life.
“Wouldn’t that money and time be better spent elsewhere? Like spending it on your children rather than feeding his ego?”
And, by the way, our children are grown AND conservative and he was a fantastic father and provider. At this point, he’s sacrificed EVERYTHING for his nation and for his family - he’s making plenty of money - and he can do *anything* that he damn-well wants. He’s earned it.
(I am his wife and I’ve given my permission.)
You’re probably going to hate this... he has a *gasp!* motorcycle. And I’m encouraging him to get another. In five years when he retires, he’s going to (trigger warning) grow a *beard*. It will probably be bushy.
According to all the bigots on this thread, yep. Apparently.
Glad I wasn’t the only one to notice that...
95% of the US military have tattoos.

It is a military tradition, even among the officers. As I said in another post, I have never met a soldier without a tattoo and I’ve lived on military posts for more than 20 years.
Archiving this thread in the event West runs for president in 2020 or whenever and the purging of anyone supporting candidates who have tats takes place.........
Then spend the time and money on your grandchildren.
You can always buy a T-shirt with all those patriotic sayings.
Are you encouraging your children and grandchildren to get into this tattoo fad?
Agreed, he needs to ditch that brushcut too, it's too "military"........./s
You talk about others having a mental disease. It seems that you are completely obsessed with anger at anyone who expresses a desire to have a tattoo. That obsession seems abnormal to me and worthy of seeking medical help.
