Former congressman Allen West (R., Fla.) is making a statement on the right to bear arms on his right bare arm with a new tattoo. Aces High Tattoo Shop in West Palm Beach, Fla. showed off the former Republicans ink on its Instagram account over the weekend.

And shellfish. That’s why crab fishing is so dangerous!
Focusing on the ink more than the person says more about you than it does them...
If it’s not a 10 commandment issue or the Golden Rule, it is a guide, not some anethma...
No one made Christ cut his hair.
Christ wasn’t prohibited from wearing flowing gowns.
Is Christ the only one who make wine?
Samson had, at one time long hair, which many synthetic moralists consider some abomination.
Still, I just can’t recall a proscription against skin art...
But you’re a liberal.
And libs always get the double standard exception.
Besides, have you ever wondered how much more you would have made without tagging yourself?
Thanks!
... Written to Israel.
And which disorder would that be?
Please keep in mind that tattoos have been around for the last few thousands years...
My ink has never been an issue with my earning potential. Nor will it.
My husband has tats on both forearms, both upper arms, a small one on his left pec, and his entire right pec is a half chest-piece.
He makes six figures. Kept the same wife (who *also* happens to be the mother of *all* of his children) for a quarter century.
He plans on getting many, many more.
You are a libertarian, are you not? Pro-dope and all that?
You are a social liberal.
And your body graffiti has cost you in ways that can’t be counted. Do tall people earn more then short people? Are handsome and pretty people more advantaged in the job market than ugly people?
While you may not believe that you are a self inflicted victim of pay discrimination based on what you did to youself; you are only lying to yourself when you deny it.
Idiots have been around for longer than that. At some point in history idiots began getting tattoos.
Today tattoos are a juvenile fad. Alan West has shown he is either immature or an idiot. Either way getting a tattoo at his age is a sign of immaturity, if not pure stupidity.
Maybe this gives him some street “cred?”
I presume that you are implying that the word for "tattoo" is a hapax legomenon in the scope of Biblical text. For those who haven't attended seminary, a "hapax legomenon" is a word which occurs only once in a literary context. This property makes it difficult to discern original meaning.
Just last month a friend and I were discussing such a word in the New Testament. He commented that "hapax legomenon" is one of those terms you learn in seminary that makes you think you were getting your money's worth.
Narcissistic personality disorder.
It’s the “Hey, look at me, ain’t I cool” syndrome.
How your husband plans on getting many, many more - after a quarter century - is great! Not many men can go that far into fatherhood that long.
You are talking about children, right?
But if it’s tattoos, then no. See the points laid out in post 71.
So all the people defending this nation in the military are all trashy?
Even good conservatives like West have to get with the trashy times I guess. To each his own. Personally I hate tattoos but it would not impact my support. I have bigger fish to fry.
Some people here have a very low opinion of a lot of the guys out there defending their freedom it seems.
So the United States Marine Corps is idiotic and juvenile .
