It is in the interest of our republic to stop Obama. We might be rid of the tyrant in 2017, but the executive precedents he has established, the tyranny will remain.

For the vast majority of GOP congressmen/senators, it is not in their personal, electoral interest to oppose Obama.

True that. For the most part, the GOP’ers are just along for the ride. They have no core convictions, beliefs or principles. Someone astutely said they are the Gutless Old Party.

Even if stepping down, he would still harass and agitate against undoing his policies.

We saw how Madelein Notsobright kept trying to back seat Bush during the Iraq war.
