Former President Jimmy Carter told attendees at the Islamic Society of North America that “the principles of Allah” are the key to peace in the Middle East. Carter spoke to the group on Saturday.

He's male.  He's white.  He claims to be a Christian.  He's been exposed to a good education.  He served in our military.  He was the most powerful man in the world.  As such he was considered to be one of our best and brightest.

God what an embarrassment!

Seldom has a man taken so much going for him, and used all of it to wind up at the virtual bottom of the barrel.  He is one of the most intellectually vacant men in the history of man.

Carter was a sleazy, gutter campaigner long before he became President.

His whole career has been built on slime and mud-slinging. It goes to prove that all you have to do to secure a reputation as a “good person,” is to go out there and PROCLAIM that you are a good person.

That’s all there is to it.

Remember the dozens and dozens of people who came out of the woodwork with tales of how Romney saved their lives, their marriage, or their house, and put kids through college, found wayward teens, etc., etc., etc. Notice the total absence of such stories related to Carter, Clinton, and Obama. Someone has described Obama as the turtle on the fencepost. He’s been occupying the White House for six years, and still not a single friend has emerged from the fifty years of his prior life—with the exception of several whose stories don’t jibe at all with the official story.

Iran might be the start of modern fundamentalist Islam, but just by happenstance. Something or other would have served just as well. A billion people following the most corrupt evil ideology in history — an ideology that preaches rape, murder, mass-murder and perpetual war — would have resulted in a modern resurgence one way or another.

This is not to take anything from the magnitude of Carter’s blunder (treachery?) in the 70s... Just saying I don’t think a No President Carter would have resulted in a No Modern Islamic Fundamentalism.
