And further, if you obey its rules, then if anything bad happens to you its not your fault or responsibility. Very interesting perspective you must have. What do you mean by this comment?

At a high level, islam teaches that if you obey its rules, and your life still sucks, it’s someone else’s fault. In the case of the middle east, they like to blame the great Satan U.S. and/or Israel for their plight when, in reality, THEY are responsible for their situation.
And the dirty little secret is that responsibility is very empowering. But if you don’t take it, you don’t do much to make your life better. And if some “radical” islamists come along and show you in the koran where it says to destroy the enemies and get your 72 virgins, you are receptive to the message.

It means, that whatever happens, it's the will of allah. He's responsible, not you.

Islam absolves the believer of any responsibility for doing bad things.
Even small things.
For example, if you drop a cup and it breaks on the floor, they will say, "The cup fell from my hands." Putting the onus on 'the cup'.
Or if you trip on a rug that has a fold standing up, they will say, "The rug rose and tripped my foot." thus saying the rug caused my fall, so not my fault.................

The root Arabic word from which Islam is derived implies peace, safety, salutation, protection, blamelessness, wholesomeness, submission, acceptance, surrender, and salvation.
