Police shot and killed a man shortly before sunrise Thursday on St. Pauls West Side, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 6:20 a.m. near Plato Boulevard and Wabasha Street, south of the Mississippi River.
A Twitter message from a Police Department spokesman described the man as a suspect in an unspecified crime and added that the officer was not injured. No other details were immediately available.

The man who was killed is described as a hispanic male in his mid-twenties.
Great, now the Hispanics are going to get in on the action.

I agree; too early too tell on this one. *If*, though, he was actually throwing rocks at cops, he was too stupid to live.
