It is more coddling of the most coddled generation.
All this is a way to keep on dumbing them down. Less time in the class room and the less they learn.
No, it’s not coddling. It’s just plain stupid some of the times kids have to get up, and how early classes start now. Our school bus picked us up at about five til eight, and classes started around 8:30. That seemed right. More in line with the real world (many business starting times) and certainly easier on families.
