Obama Administration Translation: Bend over and kiss your butt goodbye!
I was on active duty during the Reagan era and we periodically had terrorist threats made against the HQ at 9th ID. The response was always the same. Every commissioned officer (01 thru 08) and noncommissioned officer (E-6 and above) working in the Division HQ was to go to the HHC arms room, draw their sidearm and a full magazine of live ammo and report to work. If the opportune time came at work to use it, you were expected to do so in an accurate and timely manner. Before leaving for the day, you were to return said weapon and ammo to the arms room.
