I can't help but wonder just how many Confederate battle flags the state of Kookifornia was selling or displaying to begin with. My guess is ZERO! Just another socialist nit wit touchie feely measure to add to the endless parade of other Idiocy that these cretins produce.
I was watching History 2 last night about the US Flags. It was explained that in the civil war most military on both sides had the typical gray uniforms and caried the US flag. As a result, many deaths occurred in units from gunfire and shelling from other units of their same army.
The Yankees gradually went to blue uniforms and the Confederates went to the battle flag, to better distinguish the two sides and prevent deaths from friendly fire.
It’s ludicrous for blacks and lame politicians to claim that the battle flag is a symbol of racism!
I’m surprised when I see an American flag in California. I’m surprised they’re not trying to outlaw that too.

The ironic thing is, that slavery existed under Old Glory (the U.S. Stars and Stripes), for a hell of a lot longer than it did under the Stars and Bars of the Confederacy (89 years to less than five years).

Yep. The Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in the Confederate States; NOT in the Union States, where people (many black) continued to own slaves.

Getting to be time to lock and load folks. First the Confederate flag, then the Gadsden flag, then the U.S. Flag will be banned. It's only a matter of time.

Well.....the Confederate flag flew over the State House dome until May 2000 when it was moved to a place near the Confederate Soldier statue in front of the building.
“Be careful what you wish for”: it was actually not that easy to see before, up there over the dome cupola. At street level the Confederate battle flag is very conspicuous.
The NAACP had imposed a boycott on South Carolina ober the flag issue that is still in effect (moving the goal posts). Obama made a big show of staying only in private homes when he campaigned here. Those respecting the boycott have made our beaches the whitest on the Atlantic coast.
