Saturday on Fox News Channel's "America's News HQ," network military analyst Ret. Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney told host Uma Pemmaraju that in oder to address the current threat ISIS posses, the Untied States should "go to DEFCON 1, our highest state of readiness and be prepared as we lead up to 9/11," because he warned "we may even see a 9/11/14."

I see this as merely a caution to become hyper-alert.
I don’t see it as him being out on a limb.
It is known the terrorist groups like to attack on noteworthy dates. This is sound reasoning IMO.
(A) I believe that the General is probably being truthful.
(B) At a time of dismal poll numbers, the Obama Administration and it’s loyal media have suddenly really ratcheted up the IS fear-mongering and are now talking about re-invading Iraq... because the first 2 times just weren’t good enough. (?)
I am divided on what is “actually” going on.
Seems like 2003 all over again. Do you trust the Obama administration to start a war as much as you did Bush (which worked out so well)?
Substitute “Saddam” and “WMD” in all these statements coming out, then prepare to lose another 3000 of our best sons and spend another couple trillion$ of our grandchildren’s money.
Meanwhile hundreds of thousands pour over the border, the dollar becomes worthless, the executive branch increases it’s tyranny, and we can’t manufacture anything. We lose focus.
Pray this coming war is surgical and quick and devastating to ISIL. No nation building. No Coalition body bags.
My son just had a briefing on these monsters that shocked him deeply. He is not allowed to talk about it, but he made it clear that what he learned was of the gravest concern.

I concur. And after they complete the consolidation, they will find themselves isolated from the moderate Sunni Arabs that will then take control as they did in Egypt. These moderates live in the new territory and elsewhere in the region.
Bottom line....... money not religion will prevail
This general has a very good reputation. He was one of the officers run out under Clinton for being too much of a straight shooter. I believe absolutely that plane could be in Pakistan, and I would trust this guy as much, if not more than, most others.

If our warriors have to fight under existing rules of engagement with their operations controlled by Washington political hacks, the adversary may as well be 10 feet tall.
One thing is pretty certain about that plane.......if it did crash in the ocean, PARTS and PIECES from it would have washed up on shores, and nothing has been reported. It either LANDED or crashed onto an island or forest or mountain.

Nah, 9/14, after MSM and the President brag about the extraordinary skill and planning they used to avoid another 9/11!
Of course there will be more attacks. It only took two attempts to take down the WTC. And the second attack along with our over reaction has brought us the kind of government that our Founders tried so hard to avoid.
Please note that Gen McInerney said a BOOK is going to be published on September 7th. NOT some sort of event is going to happen.
McInerney referenced the missing Malaysia Airlines jet MH370 from earlier this year and said, “On the seventh of September, a major news network and publishing network are going to put out a book. It is going to be earth shattering of what’s happening and what happened. The fact is we may even see a 9/11/14 MH-370 surface again. We should go to DEFCON 1, our highest state of readiness and be prepared as we lead up to 9/11.”
