How an Arrest in Iraq Revealed ISIS's $2 Billion Jihadist Network
The Guardian via Assyrian International News Agency ^ | August 22, 2014 | Martin Chulov

Two days before Mosul fell to the Islamic insurgent group Isis (the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant), Iraqi commanders stood eyeballing its most trusted messenger. The man, known within the extremist group as Abu Hajjar, had finally cracked after a fortnight of interrogation and given up the head of Isis's military council.

"He said to us, 'you don't realise what you have done'," an intelligence official recalled. "Then he said: 'Mosul will be an inferno this week'.'

Several hours later, the man he had served as a courier and been attempting to protect, Abdulrahman al-Bilawi, lay dead in his hideout near Mosul. From the home of the dead man and the captive, Iraqi forces hoovered up more than 160 computer flash sticks which contained the most detailed information yet known about the terror group.

The treasure trove included names and noms de guerre of all foreign fighters, senior leaders and their code words, initials of sources inside ministries and full accounts of the group's finances.

"We were all amazed and so were the Americans," a senior intelligence official told the Guardian. "None of us had known most of this information."

Officials, including CIA officers, were still decrypting and analysing the flash sticks when Abu Hajjar's prophecy was realised. Isis swept through much of northern and central Iraq over three stunning days, seizing control of Mosul and Tikrit and threatening Kirkuk as three divisions of the Iraqi army shed their uniforms and fled.

The capitulation of the military and the rapid advances of the insurgents have dramatically changed the balance of power in Iraq, crippled prime minister Nouri al-Maliki, allowed Kurdish forces to seize control of the disputed city of Kirkuk and galvanised a Shia fightback along sectarian lines, posing a serious threat to the region's fragile geopolitics....

Everyone who has the means should get out of a sinking nation while they can and if not, then move out of the cities and urban areas into the wide open rural areas of America.

Posted a chat post to ask to which nation to move and the thread degenerated into argument and the mods pulled it. Then, you post this? lol

Its common knowledge the Saudis were behind 9/11. As it was at the time. So naturally we invaded Iraq. And here we are.

When you figure out. Please ping me. I only say Eaucador because of what I have seen on HGTVs show House Hunters International. I know real estate and the cost of living is very cheap there. You have to buy a house or put $25K in a bank to get a resident visa. From watching that tv show, you can buy a condo on the Pacific for $100-200K. You can buy a house between $150-250K. Medical and dental procedures are very cheap. Not sure I would get major surgery done there though.
Their government is fairly Marxist from what I understand. They are the country that has given refuge to Julian the Wikieleaks guy. I kind of like that in a way. Maybe it is a place to move to and rent, incase you need to bug out.

So they have been planning for the past 3 years?
I wonder what the date was when Obama first announced we would be pulling out all of our troops from Iraq,I also seem to remember that whenever that statement was made that it was highly criticized, that all the enemy had to do was to sit back and bide their time, well,I guess they did more than bide their time, they planned very well.
Thanks Barack Hussein Obama.

Reported down in the body of the article “one of the flash sticks revealed the nom de guerre Abu Washington. That is thought to be the silent collaborator residing on Pennsylvania avenue”

Why do these people ALWAYS want to alert the enemy the full extent of their findings. It only allows them time and opportunity for cover.

One of the biggest “wins” in the war on terror was cutting off the so called “Golden Chain”, the money supply. Between banking changes after 9/11 and the help of the Saudi and other Gulf State governments (yes, really) it got to be very difficult and dangerous to send money to AQ or their affiliates.

Now between the oil and the bank robberies they no longer need funding.

This reality is primarily because in the liberal mind this does not happen: Man is basically good (until they become evil conservatives) and spanking kids, laws against sexual immorality, and decency laws, and wars are never necessary. Muslims and blacks and minorities only do bad things because they have low self-esteem or maltreatment due to conservatives, who insist on such things as that benefits are to be earned, and charity is not a right, and is to bring a positive response of gratitude toward betterment, thus helping others.

Therefore in the liberal mind American military interfering with an Islamic state represents what the liberal mind wants to deny, and was seen as being a problem, and thus removing American military would be the solution, as once the American military was removed, peace-loving Muslims would be reconciled and live happily ever after.

Yet even after it became evident this was far from becoming the reality, and despite intelligence warning of an ISIS bloodbath, nothing was done by America under liberals, as this warring testifies to the reality of man’s depraved nature, a reality they desperately want to deny while imagining a liberal fantasy.

Only men like George Bush are seen as evil by nature, as he often saw things as being on one of two diametrically opposed sides, while for the liberal there are no moral absolutes.

Yet Bush himself treated Islam as if it was some peace-loving religion and basically a race that was not the product Ishmael, of whom it was foretold, would be “a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Genesis 16:12)

While it seems America should not have gone to Iraq the second time, and certainly should not have imagined it could create a democratic state among the tribal people that was more anti-Christian than before, yet like a man with an illegitimate child, one must deal with the consequences of past actions.

But of course, when a nation sanctions and promote abomination, that country itself is under condemnation and tragically headed for damnation.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalms 9:17)

It takes a lot top get the FR tweaked pile of resident RINOs to even roll their left buttocks to pass gas. The nation is falling and no one does a darn thing. Under currect socio political conditions, its beyond ludicrous to watch the sanctimonious prigs wallow in self-imposed censorship.

Meanwhile, Terrorists can go from start-up to Billionaires in 3 years ...

“The entire free world and its innocent inhabitants will suffer horribly through starvation and disease. Sons and daughters will go to war and die for several generations.”

God still rules the nations and those nations legalizing abortion are not innocent.

Why is it that our government reveals a treasure trove of intelligence so the enemy can benefit from the information?

Wouldn't it be smarter to keep it secret until it can be fully utilized?

Obviously, our government has nothing to do with intelligence!!!
