As people on both sides of the debate regarding open carrythe practice of carrying firearms in plain viewhave been turning up the heat, more companies are being forced to take a side.
Gun-rights advocates see the practice as a way to normalize gun ownership and deter crime, while gun-control activists believe carrying guns in stores and restaurants is disruptive to the public and encourages violence.
Recently, Target, Starbucks and Chipotle have asked their patrons not to bring their guns. After petitions by gun-control groups such as Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Kroger said it would uphold local and state laws in the 34 states it operates.

You can do it in MN, but I prefer the element of surprise.

In Georgia, you need a “Weapons Carry License” to carry either open OR concealed.

Gonna slap on my Annie Oakley six shooters and see if I get arrested. I'm in Upstate NY.
Things would be much better if we could wear them on our hip. I always liked the idea of tying them down.
Be back in a bit. Gonna practice my quick draw.

TX, FL, and SC prohibit open carry? That’s a shocker - I would think it would be the opposite.

When the SHTF that map will change considerably...
There will be no words like “Prohibits, Requires, Allows”.
In a sad way we will have all the freedom we want.
I like purple - so the whole map will be purple - Your on your own...

Reconstruction. Carpetbaggers. Read about it sometime.
Most laws against open carry in the South are very racist in their roots.

In NY, you can be charged with brandishing a weapon if your cover slips up too far while reaching for a high shelf in the wholesale club.

I think Arizona is in there, too. AZ has a permit, but it isn't required. It's a helpful thing for citizens that go to other states and need reciprocity.
This is the internet, someone will tell me if I'm wrong, like a chicken on a june-bug.

If a thug wants to take you and he knows you’re armed, chances are you’ll never get a chance to use your weapon, so keep it concealed until it’s time to use it
