The Old Farmer's Almanac, the familiar, 223-year-old chronicler of climate, folksy advice and fun facts, is predicting a colder winter and warmer summer for much of the nation.
Published Wednesday, the New Hampshire-based almanac predicts a "super-cold" winter in the eastern two-thirds of the country. The west will remain a little bit warmer than normal.
"Colder is just almost too familiar a term," Editor Janice Stillman said. "Think of it as a refriger-nation."
More bad news for those who can't stand snow: Most of the Northeast is expected to get more snowfall than normal, though it will be below normal in New England.

Every Saturday, Freeper Excellence posts a summery from Joe Bastardi of Weatherbell dot com. He has been saying this since April. He also says that it has nothing to do with Global Warming, Climate Change, or any of the other hoaxes the MSM will come up with.

Didn't I read that due to the brilliant policies of the EPA, the New England area will have a hard time finding enough energy for home heating? In fact they are looking to Canada to do them a solid and send some oil their way this winter?
At least for the little people. The elites who caused this mess will be a-ok no matter how cold it gets.

As a lifelong Minnesotan, I can safely say that last winter was the most brutal I’ve ever experienced. Spring was six weeks late, and if it happens again I might just move.
