Obama's 'Post Foley' Golf Game Less About The Optics Of Leadership And More About A Disturbing Personal Coldness
As readers of this column know, I tend to favor the political and policy positions put forth by President Barack Obama and his administration.
That is not to say that, in the effort to provide an honest accounting of my opinions on the issues of the day, there have not been moments where I have found it necessary to criticize the White House when I disagree with their policies and strategies.
But thats my job and I try to do the very best I can in doing that job.
However, never before have I felt the need to criticize our President for something that goes well beyond politics and policyuntil today.
What I should be discussing this day are the Presidents comments delivered yesterday regarding the heinous execution of American photojournalist James Foley; comments I found to be completely appropriate in that they conveyed strength, intelligence and a hint that we may have only just begun to deal with the scourge that is ISIL.
What I should also be writing about this day is the remarkable strength and grace we witnessed while watching the parents of James Foley who were nothing short of stunning and inspirational in their televised conversation with the press.
Instead, I find myself compelled to write about the Presidents decision to keep his scheduled golf date with a couple of friends immediately following his televised commentsa decision that revealed a complete lack of class on Mr. Obamas part.

Yep.
Of course you are welcome to put your own personal spin on it, but THAT is what I meant
If the president would just shut up & take action,we’d be better off. Of course, they would first have to own up to who the enemy is & then hit them where it hurts, rather than threatening to bring them into a court of law.
After ten or more years, the liberals are starting to realize that there’s not much to Obama? I wonder what they were like in school?
“OK, Al, here are two pencils and I add two more pencils. How many pencils are there on the table?”
“Oklahoma?”
“Al, it’s four pencils. Four. Oklahoma is a state.”
“Nitrogen?”
“No, Al. The answer is four pencils. Nitrogen is an element.”
“Racism?”
“No, Al. It’s four. One...two...three...four. See?”
“Transgendered?”
“Why did I ever want to teach at Harvard?”
Now it's: "if President Obama has to cancel his golf game, the terrorists have won."
He'd really rather be back at work, but he has to show his defiance of the terrorists.
“...descent into madness...”
THAT was a short trip!
Great cartoon, truly worth a thousand words.
I can hardly wait for the day he does his embarrassing "I'm so vigorous" dance down the stairs of Air Force 1 stark naked.
I only hope I live long enough for the complete expose on JUST how absolutely off his head this clown is!!
Because FOR SURE, it cannot be contained indefinitely!
I can do without watching him step off air force one in the buff, thanks ... but I’d SURE like seeing him carted away in a giggle jacket!!
I can picture claw marks on the Oval Office door frame.
Obama has no respect, and even some of his journalist lackeys are starting to notice
That is only reserved for the parents of deserters like Bowe Bergdahl. Thanks for posting.
Exactly! Some people are real retarded though. Take a person for their words and what they say and do. Is that so hard?
FU Unger, I hope your freakin’ neck is next, you rotten SOB.
