A GOP effort to send hundreds of party workers into minority communities across the country will continue long after this year's midterm elections are over, the chairman of the Republican National Committee said Tuesday.
"We need to be a year-round party," Reince Preibus said to a gathering of Georgia Republicans. "We need to be a party that is engaged full time in black, Hispanic and Asian communities. Not just once in a while, but all the time."

“We need to be a party that is engaged full time in black, Hispanic and Asian communities. Not just once in a while, but all the time.”
Folks it’s time for a third party. The GOP assumes we will
do like the minorities do with the democrats, blindly vote
for them because they are supposedly republican. If we don’t,
eventually, these these RINO posing frauds are going to
morph into gun grabbers just like the tards because they are
turning into tards.
Do conservatives count as a minority to the RNC? Any outreach there.
The outreach should be: we believe you should be productive, working full time, drug-free, crime-free, believe in the principles of this country. If you are willing to be those things, we have a place for you.
Where's the second party?
I agree 110%.
And why the hell aren’t we recruiting Mike Scott, Mia Love, Star Parker, et al to be SPOKESPERSONS on national issues?
Yes, I agree.
No pandering, but YES to making ourselves known.
Wasting time on people who won’t ever vote for you is wasting time.
Pray America wakes up
And it just further pisses off the base.
Why are the Democrats winning? Say what you will, but they keep their base happy.
The older ones remember the busing riots of the 1960s and will tell you that to this day many neighborhoods have not recovered. They know it's their neighborhoods that suffer.
Reach out to those black owned barbershops, nail salons and every other black owned business in the inner cities and talk about reducing taxes and regulation so they can thrive. They are the people who will spread the message to their customers. I’ve met enough of those people to know that they do understand the tax and regulation threat.
Its what many miss about the election of Mike Duggan in Detroit. Duggan understood where the information terminals of the inner city really are and went directly to them and they spread his massage. First white mayor (liberal) of Detroit in nearly 50 years and he ran as a write in candidate.
Personally, I would get some of the big money guys like Roger Penske and Dan Gilbert to work with me to make connections with the small businessmen.
When I was a very young woman fresh out of college, I went to work for the Republican Committee. I wondered why nobody was contacting blacks, so they said, Go Ahead, you do it.
This was long ago . so I did. Made arrangements and went to a black group and brought them the good news of opportunity, of getting jobs, creating businesses, and getting ahead Republicans stood for that. I was met with polite but blank stares. Then they all said they’d have to ask their preacher because apparently they wouldn’t even think a thought without him.
End of story. I got smart, they didn’t.
Except screw conservatives.
You’d think the fiasco of putting token Negro Michael Steele in charge of the RNC, which resulted in wildly inappropriate spending and loss of donors, would have shown the history-blind nitwits at RNC the “benefits” of chasing black votes.
Now, if I could only get off their mailing list.
Hey Reince maybe the GOPe would be better served spending 100% of its time reaching out to its base which is fast eroding.
Henceforth, he should be known as “Flush” Preibus.
There are some communities where the Repubs can’t just sit back and say, “Come to us. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and come to us. It’s all here, but we require something of you.” The Repubs have to go to them first, especially if, unlike the Dems, the Repubs are not going to to give these communities all sorts of “goodies”. Well, if the Repubs won’t give these communities “goodies”, they can at least give them attention.
They know we're going to be the minority, so we don't matter. And WHY are we going to be the minority? Because the GOP did nothing when tens of millions of third worlders flooded into this country, brought in their relatives, and had tons of kids. In fact, they encouraged it because of the cheap labor. Now they're stuck pandering to people who will never vote for them.
They don't call them The Stupid Party for nothing.
RNC cannot get donations from us long time White Republicans——let them get it from the illegals & welfare people I am supporting.
