It seems Jay Nixon, the Democratic Governor of Missouri, doesnt think too much of that whole innocent until proven guilty thing and has decided instead to call for a vigourous prosecution of Darren Wilson, the officer who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown.
Not a vigorous investigation, mind you, but a vigorous prosecution. In other words, to hell with the evidence and the mitigating circumstances. Naturally, it doesnt matter that over a dozen witnesses have corroborated Wilsons side of the story.

Am I missing something? Can Officer Wilson can go to a higher state court, and file a motion for dismissal of any charges from the Grand Jury based on the Governor’s remarks, because he prejudiced the grand jury before they met...before any trial starts. He will beabe to claim that any trial in the entire state would be prejudiced by Idiot Nixon’s remarks... And since it is a state law... It would be up to Holder to pursue charges, and I think the Feds could be blocked on the same basis.
Nice job Stalin.
Hang him then have a vigorous investigation. ..
Democrats ALWAYS side with the criminal ALWAYS.
This ass hat governor is lucky I’m not a close relative of this police officer.
What a frickin’ idiot.
He’ll win re-election by a landslide.
National Stupidity is at an all time high, like a freight train doing 470 MPH on a track It cannot and will not be stopped.
We are done as a nation.
And if the “vigorous prosecution” renders a not guilty verdict, brace for more riots.
Nixon fills the bill of govern-snot! (not a misspelling)
If they violate the civil rights of the cop, they should all go to prison
This guy is something else. Gotta be a democrat.
This may be far fetched, but maybe Gov Nixon sees himself in a lose-lose situation.
1) If he backs Brown, he realizes that the evidence doesn’t prove the case and there’s going to be a huge backlash when it’s ruled a “justifiable shoot” on the part of the police.
2) If he backs the police and calls for a fair, independent investigation, the Ferguson community will view him as abandoning them and a huge backlash results.
3) If he preventively and knowingly taints any potential prosecution and juror in Missouri, all can be angry with him but maybe prevents the backlash as the community would look as him strongly backing a prosecution and an outcome but clumsily carrying it out and, ergo, no trial or conviction. Still retains political favor.
Just my 2 cents worth.
I agree with that.
In other words....the perfect Democrat! I predict he has a big future in The Party.
Rush Limbaugh will have a ‘field day’ tomorrow with the MO Gov. remarks...
This entire event needs ‘buried’ and...
lets get down to real business as AN AMERICAN IN SYRIA, HELD HOSTAGE WAS SAVAGELY EXECUTED TO DAY BY ISIS...AND OBAMA NEEDS TO ANSWER THIS..AND THERE ARE TWO MORE AMERICANS BEING HELD AND THREATEN WITH THE SAME SENSELESS ACT...
WAKE UP AMERICA...THEY ARE HEADED HERE...
Making this even more dispicable, is the clown was Missouri's AG for 16 years.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
The Party of Detroit’s plantation is burning.
If you’re from Missouri how can you be NOT embarrassed..
Even if you’re a democrat..
Nixonian to say the least
Hearing this phrase misused is tiring. Whiners use it meaning don't accuse me. The only sensible meaning is you can't punish until you have convicted one following a trails.
Talk about a lynching..looks like that’s what we got here. The lynch mob, the rush to judgement.
