A patient admitted to Kaiser Permanente may have been exposed to the ebola virus, and test are currently being done to determine whether the virus is present, a representative has confirmed to CBS13.
The unidentified patient was admitted to the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center, and they have been placed in isolation.
The medical center emphasizes all measures are being taken to protect the staff, and that the samples have been sent to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, who will test them. The tests are expected to take several days to complete.

That’s just great. Instead of confining it in Africa the administration is spreading it all over to share the pain. After all, an opportunity to further Agenda 21 can’t be ignored...
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Feeling safe, here in The Heartland, tonight!
What happens on either coast doesn’t reach us for a decade, minimum.
*SMIRK*
We’re all so screwed.
Patience - only testing. Remember symptoms mimic many other diseases.
I really feel for this patient. Wouldn’t want to be in a Kaiser Permanente hospital.
This is the kind of thing they do every year just before flu season, just to raise awareness. They're DEFINITELY trying to raise awareness,of Ebola.
lol on your ebola/Recola ping. I opened the thread just to see if you were here to post it.
Hmmmm.... no mention of why they would suspect Ebola exposure or where it came from.
I hate pop quizzes.
A link to this thread has been posted on the Ebola Surveillance Thread
Thanks for the ping!
Youre Welcome, Alamo-Girl!
Oops.
Wrong ping list keeper.
Sorry.
LOL! No worries.
The first Mrs. Lurkin used to refer to Kaiser as “McMedicine.”
I’m not sure what to be more concerned about. Someone in California might have Ebola and has possibly spread it or that Kaiser Permanente is handling this case.
