Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- An independent autopsy into the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, provides "ample" evidence to support the arrest of the police officer who shot him, family attorney Daryl Parks said Monday at a news conference.
Parks was particularly concerned about gunshots that medical examiners hired by the family indicate came from behind and above.
"Why would he be shot in the very top of his head, a 6-foot-4 man?" Parks asked. "Makes no sense."
The autopsy could support witnesses' suggestions that Brown was holding his hands up in the air, said Shawn Purcell, who assisted in the autopsy. But other scenarios are possible, said Dr. Michael Baden, who supervised the inquiry.

Very good post!!!!
I’ve been saying this over and over in another thread. The shot to the top of the head will be the point the race-baiters seize on as “proof” that this was an execution.
You think the rioting/demonstrations will die down quickly? I think they will use this case as an excuse to continue riots, robberies and shootings. And when the day comes there is a trial, it will escalate all over the country
ample?? Please share.
I was watching the performance of the family attorney when he declared that the autopsy proved Brown was shot in the back.
The autopsy drawings were right beside him and the back view had no gunshot wounds on the back.
I didn’t get to see if anyone asked Dr. Baden about this seeming anomaly, but it seemed like such a logical question that I was surprised it wasn’t the very first one from a media person.
After all, this is a big issue with the lawyer throwing around terms like murder and execution.
Sounds like more states will call out the guard.

Never mind "from this point", Brown supporters were claiming the robbery video were "lies. lies, lies". The demographic of topic will not accept any info that does not support their 'conclusion'.
It’s odd. I just read an article saying that the famous Dr. Michael Baden was hired by the family. Because of the high profile nature of the case, the doctor waived his fee and is working pro bono.
I had read his report earlier in the day. He says all shots were from the front and offered two scenarios about how the top of the head wound got there.
The “family attorney” is making things up.
Excellent video
Umm, no. The wounds indicate that he was shot in the front, not where his limbs were.
This is not a question meant to be argumentative, only investigative.
The bullet wound at the top of Brown’s head, is it a direct penetration or a glancing hit? Does the autopsy specify?
I also can very well see you point, with the photo.
I believe there is no way to tell which wound was first or in which order!
Thanks!
They have rims picked out for it already.
The lawyers need a guilty on ANYTHING in order to pursue a civil action (assuming that state allows such claims).
The rioting is not about justice, the rioting is about “entitled to free stuff..”
I saw an ANSWER sign in the crowd yesterday.
Affirmative action. Happens all the time.
Yeah I noticed that the attorney was contradicting what Baden said.
Rioters will only be satisfied if police officer Wilson is hanged
“Yeah I noticed that the attorney was contradicting what Baden said.”
Per the President’s model - say what you want the people to hear because they are not going to listen to anyone else.
