McDonald's being overrun; 1000s marching on the CP; shootings

People in Ferguson are apparently complaining (rightly so) because they are afraid to leave their homes; some are low on food and scared to go out; some are not going to work.
Another key factor with that area, is they’ve been canceling school for a week now (including tomorrow).
Parents expect their kids to go to school, so they can work, and the school district loses thousands of dollars for every day the school is closed during regular scheduled classes. I’m not sure if teachers are still being paid, but if they are, it’s another hit on the already-poor area of Ferguson. If teachers aren’t being paid, then you know they’ve got to be complaining as well.
I was wondering because when I was growing up in St Louis I used to listen to a local Disk Jockey named Johnny Rabbit.
Because this thread concerns the St Louis area and your freeper name of “Jrabbit” jogged my memory of bygone days in St Louis it got me to wondering if you used that DJ’s name as a handle here because you also perhaps used to listen to him :-)
He was a VERY popular local radio personality (KXOK AM 630), along with his made-up friend named “Bruno J. Grunion”
The Teachers Union is siding with the “demonstrators”
I think that we’re looking at this all wrong.
Ferguson has a Democratic police chief and a Democratic mayor.
Missouri has a Democratic governor and the U.S. has a Democratic Attorney General and a Democratic President.
The protests are in a Democratic stronghold.
...should we just be asking, over and over, what the Democrats are doing to end their race wars?
Other than that, we should NOT get in their way of self-destructing.
The Governor was just complaining that the police were “overmilitarized” and now he sends in the actual military??
Thanks for that...looks like it’s official the Guard will be going in to assist the police. Will it make a difference with the protesters?
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said Sunday that the Justice Department would conduct its own autopsy, in addition to the one performed by local officials and this private one by the familys Attorney.
Absolute, total and unmitigated bull s**t.
The body has been released from the custody of the official coroner, released to Brown family, shipped to a mortuary , had a second unsupervised autopsy performed by unofficial third party and now the DOJ is going to do a third autopsy?
This won't fly because the chain of custody of the body has been irrevocably broken and there is unlimited potential for evidence tampering with the body now that it is in the hands of the family and Crump.
Once the National Guard starts restoring order they can expect the Governor to complain they are “over-militarized”.
lol
Of course...
the protesters resisted the local police....then they resisted the state police... they resisted the swat teams...and they resisted Johnson and the Highway patrol.
The protesters aren’t listening.....nor those especially who’ve come in from outside the area.
Am seeing a number of videos where a young person is proclaiming “I am Mike Bro”. Is insanity for young people with so little information to proclaim support for a thug and support mayhem. All the ‘I am Mike Bro’ videos are coming from young people. Thus these young believe it is perfectly fine to charge an Officer of the Law to either kill or be killed, riot and loot? Their parents have to be of equal lunacy? Black Community, You Have A Problem. No wonder decent people are leaving behind the lunacy of your corruption, Black Community.
The DOJ had already said they’d be doing an autopsy ‘before’ the family’s Attorney took it on himself to hire and pay for a private autopsy.
The mayor is a GOPer; though what kind of one, I do not know.
He complains to the black citizens he exploits, and excuses. He knows they will not/can not read his order!
In the end, he does them no good whatsoever.
Nothings changed, the tune is the same....it works to keep police from doing their job and the black community gets a reprieve to commit crimes for a time without the pressure they'd get caught and arrested. Make enough ruckus...get the press involved...get out of jail free cards ensue.
Yes.
Goes along with the rash of idiotic “I’m real, are you” images young people were posting recently.
*eye roll*
They take everything at face value, swallow it, then wonder what’s wrong after the fact.
LOL....no, never heard of Johnny Rabbit! I’m in the Dallas area.
yup
Ohh, I did not know that! Thanks!
I watched Don Lemon on CNN after the statement of the black chief in charged, he called the people who looted, threw molotov cocktails, shot into the crowd, “stupid, ignorant’ and repeatedly said that this was “embarrassing.”
The woman back at the station was trying to give him an out by saying that emotions were high because all that the community had suffered from the police, but Lemon sounded very frustrated and troubled about the violence. He said that it was not “ fireworks” it was gun shots from the protestors.
On Fox, before I watched CNN an unseen commentator, said that the black officer in charge, had said that he had a son at home that wore his pants down, his cap askew and had tattoos, but he was going to go to his room and hug him because “he was my baby.”
But after a day of going to church with these people, saying that he was them, they were family, he looked pretty beat when he described the shots fired from within the crowd and the lootings and molotov cocktails has had been dealing with.
I say Lemon and this black police chief just found out that liberalism does not work with black grievance rioters.
Looks like DOJ blew it and completely compromised any use of their autopsy for any Federal Investigation.
Unless there was the plan for the second autopsy to alter the evidence and then turn the body over to Holder’s DOJ for a trumped up third autopsy.
