Store Owners 'Use Their Own Guns' As Police Back Away In Ferguson

Looters in Ferguson, Missouri, were "met with little police resistance" as business owners say they "were forced to protect their businesses with their own guns" on Friday.
A reporter from Fox2Now even said "police cars were seen driving past some of the stores being looted and did not respond."
Two store owners told Fox2Now that they called 911, "were sent from one police agency to another," then "got no response."
Fox News reported that an angry mob formed "just before midnight" and broke into the very convenience store which Michael Brown -- the man shot by police -- allegedly robbed prior to being shot. There were approximately 200 in the crowd and some "began throwing rocks and other objects at police," hurting at least one officer.
Police responded by backing away to give the crowd room, but made no arrests.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Los Angeles riots, sparked by the acquittal of four Los Angeles Police Department officers accused of beating the now-deceased Rodney King. During the five days, mobs around Los Angeles looted stores, burnt 3,767 buildings, caused more than $1 billion in property damage, and led to the deaths of more than 50 people and left another 4,000 injured. A story that has been forgotten since then is that of the brave storeowners in Koreatown who fended off mobs with handguns, rifles and assault weapons.
On the second day of the riots, the police had abandoned much of Koreatown. Jay Rhee, a storeowner in the area, stated to The Los Angeles Times, “we have lost faith in the police.”

I had a disagreement with another Freeper about the effectiveness of making nice to these people. I live in an “ethnically diverse” neighborhood populated largely by the free stuff crowd. Most of them would use any incident, however slight, to inflict violence and steal. It's not that they have been aggrieved. They are entitled and they will do whatever it takes to get what they want. These are not peaceful protesters. They're violent criminals. And it's time law enforcement use whatever force is necessary to restore order.

So some wanted anarchy. I have even read comments on kook websites from liberals that the cops should be disarmed.
Thus we now have complete mayhem because liberals would rather attack cops as bad and ignore the looters. This has encouraged the rioters and it will go on.

I’ll bet the police will spring into action when a store owner ends up shooting and killing a looter. Watch how fast they’ll arrest him, especially if he’s white.
