I'd bet good money that Obama/Holder Justice Dept. was spooling up part of the "investigation" where the tape would have been taken into Federal custody. And never would have seen the light of day. Ever.

Probably would have been "lost". Just like the Lerner emails, Obamacare meeting notes, etc. Would have made railroading the cop as a sacrificial lamb SOOO much easier.

The local PD did exactly the right thing here. Its out, and it's never going back in it's bottle. It's a little thing called "transparency", something that the Obama Admin likes to claim it's all in favor of. But never really practices.

Like my brother says, it’s like kids in a classroom. The teacher tells them they can’t chew gum in class until one day they see the teacher chewing gum and their response is “Oh it must be OK then” so then they chew gum.
