SADDLE BROOK, NJ Robert Lintner, 65, did not have a good day.
It all began when his wife stabbed him in the neck during an argument in the morning. Things took a turn for the worse when police, summoned to Mr. Litners home, discovered the mans firearm and ammunition collection.
Mr. Litner owned almost 200 guns in five vaults, had tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition in the home, and around 300 pounds of black powder. Because he did not consent to the search, cops used a jaws-of-life from the local fire department to open the safes, which are worth thousands of dollars in their own right.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the scene to help confiscate the collection, and Mr. Lintner was charged with causing or risking widespread injury or damage for possessing more than 30 pounds of black powder. He pleaded not guilty.
Mr. Lintners attorney contends that his client possessed gunpowder because he teaches classes that utilize flintlock firearms for the state Division of Fish and Wildlife. It remains to be seen if Mr. Lintner will face additional charges.
Mr. Lintners wife, Eileen Lintner, who was charged with illegal possession of a weapon and second-degree aggravated assault, pleaded guilty to the charges.
What? They didn’t shoot his dog too?
Temporary

Order
Temporary restraining order.
.
Friends in 'Low Places ' like the stockroom, shipping and recieving, transport , etc.
Or Friends in 'High Places' as in 'well connected' influential friends.
I hope he has a MAG (Mutual Assistance Group) to fall back on .
Moral: If you want to be this kind of guy, move to Wyoming.
But that's Smokeless Powder.
I believe keeping too much powder is either a regulatory infraction OR misdemeanor absent making a bomb of it or proof of nefarious intent.
He'll get his guns back.
Safes are lost without compensation.
Temporary restraining order...
Lil feller got away. ..thankfully...

So the lesson here is to not get stabbed in the neck, I guess
No, the lesson here is not to live in New Jersey! Moved out 45 years ago and never looked back. Why stay where they tax you to death, step on your rights and hate you if you’re conservative?
To me that’s the only response.
How many of us, converging on New Jersey, would it take to restore Constitutional law there?
Yes, by “battle of Athens” type means...
Enough screwing around.
The real lesson is that very few situations are ever made better by calling the cops.
The bigger lesson is:
Don’t live in New Jersey...
That’s about smokeless powder. IIRC smokeless powder is what one uses in reloading. The article states he had 300# of black powder - quite a bit more flammable. They’re lucky they didn’t blow the place up if they were using jaws of life on a safe full of that stuff.
Mrs. AV
This is the Democratic People’s Republic of New Jersey, he’s just lucky they didn’t Kick his dog on the way out for good measure.
“The bigger lesson is:
Dont live in New Jersey.”
I escaped from that statist $hithole about 14 years ago. Crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge, I casually remarked to my wife, “now you don’t have to worry about bailing me out of jail. “ I received the desired open mouth and “Wh... what are you talking about? “ I told her all about the firearms laws of the dark and fascist People’s Democratik Republik of Neu Joisey, with emphasis on those dealing with magazines. She asked me how many I had, and I responded, “Oh, probably about 200 years in Rahway [State Prison] worth.” She turned white and was silent for about 30 seconds. Then she asked me if Texas had any laws like that. I told her, “NoTexas is in America.”
I am pretty convinced that had I stayed there, I’d have ended up in prison for having the wrong hobby and political beliefs. Phuck the PDRNJ!
P.S. I deeply believe in the idea expressed in my tagline.
Christine’s back yard.
The libs are indoctrinated and convinced by the PTB that conservatives are the threat to rights, freedoms and opportunities for affluence for all, while conservatives are convinced just the opposite.
Both the left and right are manipulated via the puppet strings of global corporations and puppet masters of politics that convince us Americans to hate each other instead of hating the globalist corporate puppet masters ho’s whose only interest is importing cheap labor, putting the USA deeper into debt, keeping us at war, and conniving amongst their own about ways to steal our rights and freedoms.
We need to see puppet masters going to prison instead of taking money from share holders to bribe the DOJ.
Also, it says he had multiple safes they opened.
