The fifth night of demonstrations in support of gunned down Ferguson, Missouri teen Michael Brown saw scores of protesters marching through the streets of New York in a vigil that culminated in Times Square Thursday night.
Tensions flared as some protestors attempted to shove their way through a police barricade set up in their path toward the beating heart of the city.
Police held their own and tempers soon calmed, but as night gripped New York, the already congested Times Square ground to a halt as thousands flowed into the streets to demand an end to police brutality and militarization and justice for 18-year-old Brown.

Anyone see if revcom was in NYC for this one?
I wouldn’t know; I do know that business in NY will fall to pieces if there are full scale riots. There are a lot of foreign nationals working on NY and a lot of foreign nationals who might end up getting hurt by the crazies (which will result in horrific relations with foreign governments) and resulting in several fatalities.
he came off the golf course just long enough to encourage more protest and then flitted off to dinner.
Maybe more folks should invest in Mossberg, Remington, etc.
Not spontaneous - planned and coordinated

***Police Forces being trained to ignore Black Crime***
This is not new. Back in 1968 LIFE or LOOK magazine had an article on crime in the cities and how police would not answer calls from the colored section of town as it was (their statement) “Just niggers cutting up!
A million tea party conservatives rally in d.c. and the media yawns yet this paltry group is lionized
P.U.I.?
Time to load up all the Glock mags with JHP and AR-15 mags with 75gr HP. 12 gauges are already loaded with 00 and slugs. Hmmm.. Guess I’d better reload some 178gr gr HP .308’s for the AR-10, too.
You can never be too ready. Get your milk, bread and eggs while the grocery stores are still open.
Drat. this is getting to be like the 60s. The rent -a-mob activists are just having a grand old time.....Too bad they still haven’t learned how to behave
“...Can a run on ammo be far behind?...”
You should already have all you need, and it shouldn’t be all in one location. We were buying during the Clinton years, because we knew it was only a matter of time before another a**hole Democrat was elected.
The only thing we didn’t anticipate was exactly HOW much MORE of an a**hole he’d actually be... and this one took the First Prize Blue Ribbon.
Point is, if you don’t have it now, it’s only going to get tougher to get it.
While I in no way can justify the rioting and looting and there's plenty of conflicting reports of what happened in that shooting, they do have the point about police militarization.
They have been getting out of control with their knock down the doors, shoot the dog, trash the house, and realize they have the wrong address kind of gestapo tactics.
I doubt that any shooting of any black person, no matter how justified in self-defense, at this point in time would provoke any other reaction than what we've seen here.
This country is coming apart at the seems.
State rules already exclude felons and some misdemeanors from TANF and SNAP.
10 yr of range time or 30 yr of combat?
“I think white neighborhoods, specifically suburbia are about to be targeted.”
I doubt it; because we have worse segregation here than Mississippi, cops’ families live in those suburbs. If the northeast loses its white suburbanites, there is nothing left but welfare gibsmedats, illegals, and Asian immigrants selling things to them both.
That's where I am currently short.
I have to agree with you.
Whites have been laying down and taking it for so long, that I think the thugs underestimate the white folks willingness to fight back when threatened.
I hope.
