An electrifying midterm rallying cry on a slow summer news day. Boehner, incidentally, isn’t one of the crappy-asses, she says. She doesn’t name names there, but she’s been known to diverge from grassroots conservatives in these matters before.
What would happen, though, if Boehner turned around and made a deal with Harry Reid on amnesty in September? One of the goals of Obama’s looming power grab over legalization is to scare Republican leaders with the thought that Latino voters will be so grateful, they’ll break even harder for Democrats in 2016.
The only countermeasure, Dems would have you believe, is for the GOP to agree to comprehensive reform before then and steal some of Obama’s thunder. No one in conservative media (with the possible exception of the boss emeritus) is as vociferously anti-amnesty as Coulter. If Republicans signed off on a legalization deal, as is quite possible next spring or summer, would she consider that reason enough for conservatives to protest by staying home in 2016? We all have our red lines when it comes to political betrayals, but as the example of Obama and Syria reminds us, a red line that isn’t enforced is meaningless and even counterproductive in how it invites further aggression.
I’m reluctantly willing to boycott the next election if the GOP makes a bad deal on immigration in the name of showing them how steep the cost of future betrayals might be. Is Coulter? Or are we destined for a “three cheers for the Gang of Eight bill!” column in two years if/when Rubio is the nominee?
Like how is this working for us all. I am sorry but we hear this every election cycle and look what Justice Roberts did with Obama Socialist care. They all need to be thrown out. This little media game of power isn’t working nor shilling all of us any longer. They all seem to want open borders and a misunderstanding of our constitution. And, you ask for us to trust rinos. Truly difficult, Ann.
Nah. I’m not voting for the GOPe. They deserve to lose. See tagline.
But my question is who does Obama see as his enemies?
Either way, you are voting for evil. While I deeply disagree with Obama being pres(id)ent, the choices presented McCain or Romney as alternatives likely would have hurt our nation even more. McAmnesty would have certainly opened the borders, and Romney's forceful adoption of Pelosi-Obama-RomneyCare would have curtailed any fight.
We still have the option of supporting someone who will overturn these idiotic choices of Obama's administration (like Obama holds the slightest opinion other than which golf course he'd like the play today.) We'd have no choice had McCain or Romney won the White House.
And whose fault is that Ann?
non-Muslims?
....decades of holding our noses and voting for the lesser evil brought us what were looking at right now.
Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results.
Oh come on now...the republican fan boys will be right along to reeducate you...theyre little different than the liberal fan boys who want to reeducate you.
There is always a third choice: Vote for No One. No One always keeps promises.
I agree. We often compromise with the lesser evil. Vote for the most conservative candidate likely to win is what I say. If you’d rather lose than do that, then you’re already accepting defeat. You are a loser. You’re not a fighter. You’re a loser.
Sorry, Ann. I have a choice. I don’t have to cut off my nose to spite my face when I can castrate the GOP-e instead. If I’m goin’ over the cliff, the GOP-e is goin’ FIRST! They’ll hit the bottom before I will, which will either break my fall or give me peace of mind that I did all I could.
How about we have no choice but to ignore Ann Coulter.
They will not get rid of Obama Care, they are letting the Administration implode our borders and they refuse to impeach.
I'm done with the Republican party. The Leadership is completely compromised.
It's time for the Tea Party to organize.
If I don’t vote for the person who represents my important views, I will have wasted my vote. Party has nothing to do with voting.
I expect Mickey Mouse will receive a lot of write-in votes.
Nonsense. We have plenty of choices on election day. I for one intend to go out with a homebrew and do some gardening. And I’ll have far more to show for it than if I bothered to vote for the uniparty.
I thought Ann Coulter spent her time bashing missionaries and dating leftists!
This from the woman who loves Crispy Kreme for President. Or Mitt as her default guy.
Maybe Ann can come into MS and help the McDaniel backers sell out their principles and vote for Thad Enough even though they have had enough.
TX doesn’t allow write-ins unless there is an official write-in candidate.
