I don’t understand the “prepare for” statement. The war isn’t just starting. We have been in a war with the Islamic State for at least a decade. We remember, then forget, then remember again at times like this. Until they come to America and start crucifying Christians, homosexuals, athiests and other infidels on the street, America will go along dumb and happy.
Time for a 21st Century Crusade. And this time finish the job.

Those officials are either stupid or trying to be politically correct. Why stop at 10 or 20 years? This can be solved within a year by recognizing these people are the modern equivalent of those who supported Tojo / Mussolini and Hitler and need to be killed. This should not take 10 to 20 years to accomplish....
This war will be a failure if we do not admit that it is an idealogical war against Islam, not “radical Islam” but Islam pure and simple. Is there a military component to this war? Yes, but it must primarily be one of ideas. Islam itself must be discredited. Otherwise this “long war” will be a permanent war.
