The downgrade continues. I guess there's always Walmart.

Not surprised. I thought this was already the case anyway.

Target = Dayton Hudson = DemoRat liberal. This is no surprise. I haven’t shopped there since the 80s when I discovered they gave to Planned Parenthood. I’ve happily existed without them ever since and you can too.

There was something we wanted the other day, can’t remember what it was now, but Target had the best price on it, and we were next door at the bank. So proud of Mrs. RQSR. She said “No WAY, never buying from Target ever again”.

Cool!

Target is a MN company and I want to support it; however I’m having a hard time ignoring this issue. Why is it so important for Target to bow down to 3% of the population?

Their pandering to the gays has to alienate at least 35% of the rest of us.

Maybe Target should listen less to their gay employees and worry more about offending their bread and butter- the shoppers. The non homo shoppers.

I wonder what percent of Targets food sales are on SNAP/EBT cards. Target is getting politically correct in order to keep cashing in on the government dole.

I shop online except for groceries and that’s at Ralphs typically. Problem solved.

I quote the great Michael Jordan, a registered Democrat, when he rejected a request to get more involved in endorsing Democrat candidates:

"Republicans buy shoes too."

I don’t.

This does not affect me as I have not shopped there in years. I have about 4-5 stored I go to. I might pay a bit more but as I tell the wife I just have to stand on something. I wish more Americans had when the buy cheap Chinese crap trend started and put some Americans out of work. I firmly believe in free market but I am disgusted that we sell out our country to save a dollar.

I always opted for the local Target over the local Wal-Mart because it seemed a bit more clean and less chaotic, more akin to old-fashioned department stores, in terms of displays and atmosphere. Wal-Mart’s junky “warehouse” look always turned me off.

I won’t be setting foot in Target again. That’s a vow. And I keep my vows.

Why do the people who run large corporations do such stupid crap in the name of the company?

Directly involving a company in such divisive political issues serves only to alienate large numbers of potential customers.

Target is on the way out. Their stores look more like Walmart every year. Their immoral pronouncements don’t merit our financial support.

Christians and others who are still repulsed by homosexual perversion should boycott Target and other stores that promote homosexuality. Pass the word along. There are far more than 2 percent of us out here.

well - they can certainly cater to 2% of the population (my guess) without my dollars.....cause they aren't going to see my Xmas $$ or any other spending on my part

Businesses should be without politics or opinions - provide the service and keep your opinions to yourself.

Someone could make the argument that they are acting politically on behalf of dems and a portion of their profits seen as a gift in kind for promoting a political agenda.

Yes, this happened last week. My purchasing habits have already changed.

I have gone “JC Penney” on the Target stores in my area.

Not.
One.
Single.
Penny.

Is there an organized boycott against these leftist corporations? I don’t give them my money, but this would be much more effective as an organized campaign. I feel as though we are letting the left walk away with these issues. We need a new Phyllis Schlafly on this and similar issues. One righteous leader could turn this all back.

Target said it has signed a court brief backing marriage equality in a pending court case and publicly declared its support of gay marriage, a move similar to those taken by Starbucks, Intel and Apple.

Is there a complete list of these large, visible suicidal businesses?

After many years, I have grown weary of the "preaching," forced sharing of "social consciousness and self-importance" of :

Starbucks.

Never was a fan of Apple. Never have and never will own one of their products; even as a gift.

As for the rest, I will choose the least obnoxious and vocal "public" corporation or company providing the product or service I need (not merely 'want'.)

I lived through the birth of the pro-sodomy culture; back when they whined for simply a "little tolerance." I've had it with their disgusting continuing "little tolerance."

There is no law that can ever be 'passed' that can compel me to "accept" them. Period.
