Maserati Patrol Car Raises Police Suspicions

Police patrol cars are usually Fords or Chryslers, not Maseratis.
So when a patrolman in Braintree, Massachusetts, spotted a Maserati resembling a police cruiser over the weekend, he pulled it over.
Deputy Chief Wayne Foster tells The Patriot Ledger ( http://bit.ly/1rm0c8x ) the luxury Italian vehicle's body was painted black and white with a police-style shield on the doors, and police-related decals.
Foster said the door shield wasn't accompanied by the usual police phrase "Protect and Serve," but rather with "Decepticons punish and enslave."

Well, that’s what I would think as he drove by until I found out he’s just a goofball. Then I would be hot the jerk got my hopes up on account of his general fruitiness. It would probably be worse if he did actually stop and he couldn’t help like I thought he might be able to.

If anything, what will get him in trouble is having “police” on the car. It does not say POLICE anywhere on his car. On the door it says DECEPTICONS.
It does say POLICE on the actual Transformers Police Car for the movie.

California made Best Buy change the paint scheme on their tech support cars because they supposedly reassembled police cars. Considering that there are cities here that have black&white cars, all white cars and all black cars all on the road at the same time that's kind of punk.

The problem with the Veyron is that if the suspect can elude them for 20 miles, the Veyron runs out of gas. 12 minutes is enough for the Veyron's 26.4 gallon gas tank to run dry. However, your vehicle would have to go faster than 431 KPH (268 MPH). Kind of like being the gazelle chased by a cheetah ...you only need half a minute of endurance before the cheetah is too tired to continue chasing you, but the problem is the cheetah only needs ten seconds to get you.
As an aside, there are very few roads (and fewer sober drivers) that can allow the Veyron to achieve its top speed.
