I believe God knows the pain and suffering of the mentally ill and will treat them with the compassion and care they need. Often their hell has been here on earth.
That’s dangerous thinking. You’re saved or you’re not. The bible is clear on how you’re saved. It doesn’t matter how much your life sucked or did not suck on earth.
Either he knew Jesus as his own personal savior or didn’t. Given the way he checked out... well you can finish that thought.
