A brief overview of the major news stories tonight. Guess which has top coverage?
1)Robin Williams
2)Ferguson, MZ
3)Iraq
4)Ebola
5)Gaza
6)Tony Stewart
If war breaks out in Korea, Fox will be doing O’Reilly.
So I turn on the Fox News to see what I missed today, and all I hear is Shep giving paeans to Robin Williams...VERY irksome!
I'm very sorry Williams ended his life, it's heartbreaking, BUT...it's not news, once we have the info. re: the simple facts. That's really all we need to know, isn't it?! I was kind of wondering about Iraq, the Ebola outbreak, Donetsk (sic)Ukraine, etc...
..and he was said to be a kind and charitable man, not an a-hole.
Too bad he proved vulnerable to coke. The stuff is ruining
too many lives, it appears.
What is going on in Ferguson, MS, and who is Tony Stewart?
I never watch the news.
Tony has been off the front pages since sometime Sunday evening. Too many other things going on.
It just tells you what market the media is targeting, I guess, but Fox "NEWS" should be ashamed of themselves. I guess nothing happened today in Iraq? Gaza? Africa? Martha's Vineyard? I was kind of wondering, myself...
While I'm griping, just have to add, younger people have no idea who James Garner was. They MAY have heard of Humphrey Bogart but I doubt it. Possibly Robert Redford, probably not what's-his-name DeNiro, who is by far the better actor IMHO.
It's not that I'm so old, it's that so many people have no knowledge or inclination to learn anything about the long line of heritages that came before today's Tweetable event...
/ grumpy, lol
I’m sad Robin Williams was depressed enough to take his own life. He made me laugh till my gut ached. One has to wonder did all the Cocaine he took at a young age cause his depression or did he take it because of his depression? Either way it must have contributed somehow. You can have all the money in the world and be feted for your talent and even your good deeds but if you don’t have God then the rest is all vanity!
Probably 10,000 Americans died today of various reason. Why should I care more about Robin Williams than those other 10,000 fellow humans who I also didn’t know.
I had to turn FNC off tonight with Robin Williams. They are beating it into the ground.
I have a dissenting opinion on your dissenting opinion. What they want most of all isn’t attention, it’s the crap they’re stealing!
Ironically, I always thought Robin Williams would have given an interesting take on the Joker.
I have not watched it in a couple years...have not missed it..
I don’t get the others either...lol..justa streeeeeeaming.
Yeah, in his Mrs. Doubtfire outfit.
Nah, I’m thinking more an evil Mork in facepaint.
Yeah....that might work....in a gay bar...lol
The visual is killing me..
I wonder if Robin took one for the (Obama) Team? /s
There are several “personalities” whose inclusion in any cast will guarantee that I will not watch whatever it is.
These include (but are not limited to:
Whoopie Goldberg
Russell Brand
Barbara Strident
Rosie
Roseanne
Sean Penn
Charlie Sheen
And yes - Robin Williams
I’m really glad your fantasy casting never happened.
Of course the liberal media wants to call for a National Day of Mourning for a devoted Dementocrat, especially one who donated lots of $$$ to liberal politicians and one who committed suicide (a practice the liberal media wants to glorify and exalt, rather than shame and fear). He played his role in pushing the Obama Administration on us, and were he to be alive in 2016 would undoubtedly try to push a Hillary/other liberal administration on us. I give my condolences to his family and my sympathy towards Robin over the depression he suffered, but it was clearly for the best that the Maker deliver His final judgment against Robin.
In the meantime, people in Israel and Iraq who never wanted anything more than to live their lives in peace are ignored and downplayed, all because their deaths reflect badly on the Soetoro Administration. What a media.
What do ya want everyone to do?
We’ve been hearing about these medieval voodoo people for most of our lives...How about a break?
Here’s a joke...
A woman called her elderly dad who was out driving, warning him the radio reported someone driving the wrong way on the freeway. He told her, “Hell, I’ve got hundreds of them coming at me.”
