Miss.
This is Free Republic.
The nasty here pollute everything.....they must be real fun at Thanksgiving
I was driving around 5CDT this afternoon.....rural hwy middle TN
My wife texts this news to me
I stopped for gas.....checked FR.....it had just hit.....maybe 15 posts on a thread
I quickly posted decent words and remarked how long till the caustic remarks destroy these threads
And I wasn’t wrong.....
Ive learned after 14 years there are a lot of posters here you would not want to know in the real world....just mean people that enjoy playing hardass to a predominately cat lady audience.....no offense please.
You did good....a voice of decency and manners
God bless u
Nobody WANTS to be full of despair and hopelessness to the point of suicide
He was little boy once with hopes and dreams just like me.....and he realized them.....I think.....but the black dog and intoxicants just rurnt him
Sad.
Wouldn’t have figured it.....
Just read your post and it made me realize that some posters here on FR just love to flame, which is not good.
One thing about your posts over the years......you never fail to sift through the BS, and hypocrisy.
“...He was little boy once with hopes and dreams just like me.....and he realized them.....I think.....but the black dog and intoxicants just rurnt him...”
Spot on.
We all take damage along the course of our lives. Some people deal with it better. Some don’t.
Well said.
I cannot imagine being in such a dark place. The despair must have been overwhelming.
May he rest in peace.
Some of these posts run the gamut from plain coldness right up to gleeful imaginings of Williams in hell. (Thankfully the one guilty of that was locked out of the thread).
No one can call himself a Christian and be delighted, or merely flippant, over a person’s death. In my case, it isn’t only that-—my mother just raised me better.
We can speculate over where Williams is, but that’s all. The man had his last agonies, and it’s very possible he cried out to God for mercy.
