Well said, my brother.
I cannot imagine being in such a dark place. The despair must have been overwhelming.
May he rest in peace.
Well done.
Hey, look who’s back!
Good to see you.
Good to see you as well.
I now agree...the Police said there was a CLOSED pocket knife on a table near Williams and when they opened it there was dried blood and he had cuts on his left wrist. The belt was lodged in the door frame and he was elevated from the chair....that’s a hanging, NO. Who closes their pocket knife in the middle of a suicide? I do not believe it.
Let’s clear that up...the Bible says ‘There is only ONE unforgivable sin and that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit’....so that means suicide is forgivable, and who would not ask for forgiveness before such an act.
I now am not sure Williams offed himself. Who closes a knife and puts it on the table after cutting his wrists so he can hang himself with his belt on the door jam, and is found only inches off the seat??? One would just throw down the knife and keep moving. The policeman said the knife was closed and when they opened it there was dried blood which was Williams....I now see a different scenario.
Thank you for listening!
I have so many family members in the hospitality industry in prime celebrity areas (SF and LA). We all hear the stories (years later, when they are no longer bound by confidentiality/not working there anymore) about mean celebs, condescending ones, those who don’t leave a single tip, and so on.
With Robin Williams, it was all just positive. And, from the various blogs/forums I’ve scanned, it looks like everyone else had the same experience — only niceness from this man.
Thank you
I was wondering about you just day before yesterday
Wondering how goes.
Health and stuff.
Health has been better lately. Thanks for asking.
i hate to tell you this but sometimes the answer is NO or not yet!!
I suspect those here most nasty about suicide were harmed by it perhaps
They can’t be this sanctimonious
And I don’t mourn only people who think like me....
These threads shine a light on our own darkness
Tks
Good Freepers encourage more than the nasty depress
On yer six, brother.
The problem with suicide is the scars it leaves on the family left behind along with the burdens others must now bear. Most suicides are not done bby multi millionairess. Suicide should be separated out from the rest of the man but it is not something to be praised or forgiven easily. At least not by me. I know they get to a point so low that they think they are a burden to the family but believe me when I tell you the real burden begins after the funeral.
Thank you for your very kind words. There’s not a day that goes by, that I don’t miss him terribly.
When you have great parents, the loss at their passing stays with you. Along with good memories and an eternal love.We can only hope we pass their strong values on to our kids. :D
Yep, in the end only kindness matters.
You're not worth the bandwidth.
Religion says, "No." Jesus says "Yes, I will heal you."
"The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak (Matt 26:41).
Jesus always says yes to that which is rightfully yours by his sacrifice on the cross. To complete the transaction, however, you must say "Amen" (which means "so be it, I believe you Jesus").
"For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20).
Yes, it was a brilliant performance.
You write as if you knew your hero personally. I don’t worship holywood actors. My heroes were my Mother, My Father, my Brother, and my maternal Grandfather. You simply place value where I don’t.
