Waiting for the photos to surface of a young Ms. West trying to earn a living while attending Royal Naval College...
More accurately, she went down ON the ship and suffered many a friendly fire torpedoing. HMS PORTLAND was a target rich environment for her needs...how does a subordinate tell the captain “no” and not get retaliation?
Was her third in command a man or a woman?
“Scrumping”??
The fabled “Love Boat” of Desert Shield/Desert Storm had nothing on the good ship `PM’.
;^)
O-kay.
“Internal matter”... harumph!
Meanwhile, in Moscow......
LOL!
Actually, I wasn’t trying to be funny. Our enemies know that the West is weak, decadent and easy pickings.
...she will be reappointed to a post where her skills and experience can be used to best effect.

Camp Tramp?
Third-in-command was Lt Cdr Richard Gray, 35, who married 33-year-old Melissa in December 2013. Mrs Gray, an aircraft engineer who had proposed to her husband on February 29, 2012, had no comment. The ship left for the cruise five weeks after the wedding.
Navy pay isn’t that great. A female aboard ship gets a lot of attention. As a society we have sanctioned sex outside of marriage.
Mix all those together and you end up with a lot of shopping money.
Well, it just seems shocking on some levels.
I figure these girls in the navy join with the best of intentions. How sad that so many end up letting their male shipmates (blank) them, in exchange for money or other benefits.
I was attached to the marines during desert storm. It was common knowledge that there were women willing to trade their wares for a bonnie cover.
Hah. . I remember that.
My boss, a brain-dead little Courtney Massengale, went to the Desert Shield/Storm Love Boat, just to check it out before letting his troops go.
He came back, sunburned, blood-shot eyes, hung-over, a total wasted mess.
He then called us all together and said he was NOT going to allow anyone to go to the Love Boat because we would get in trouble.
He goes and has a blast, leaving us living in the sand (not at a base), he gets a fun break and then denies everyone else the same.
Putz.
Thanks, I have the same question re her sexual partner.
She misunderstood what “blowing the bosun’s pipe” means?
“Courtney Massengale”
Haven’t heard that name since I watched “Once An Eagle” back in 1977. He was the evil schemer, Sam Damon was the straightshooting soldier.
Blazing Saddles - the most politically incorrect film of all time!
Nice to know that Marlene Dietrich was still around to see herself depicted as Lilli von Shtupp.
These days, ship command has to be the most dangerous career assignment for a naval officer - yet how advance without it? Anything goes wrong either above or below decks, and it’s court martial for the skipper. Might as well be keelhauled.
