Taylor Woolrich’s case was discussed on Fox News this afternoon. Unfortunately, Geraldo Rivera was on to discuss Taylor’s case and he was very ill informed about what was happening. Here are just five errors in his discussion.
1) Bennett could be released from jail at any time and Taylor calls up every day to make sure that he hasn’t posted bail. Bennett has hired one of the very best defense lawyers in San Diego county, and apparently has been able to post a large retainer of hundreds of thousands of dollars for the lawyer. His bail is set at $300,000, which means that all he has to do is put up $30,000. It appears pretty clear that he has the resources to do that. The question has simply been why he hasn’t done it yet. The best that can be figured out is that his decision is based on advice from his lawyer. That said, Geraldo doesn’t realize that this guy could be out of jail tomorrow. . . .

Facts are an unknown foreign language to Geraldo. He is one of the few people I’m aware of who’s a bigger narcissist than Obama.

Far as I’m concerned, GR is a giant blubbering mess. How someone creates a career out of fiasco after fiasco....I suppose it’s because he’s sort of latino and some people think this alone should give him airtime.
