The major retailer has joined a group of companies in filing an amicus brief in support of gay marriage

Good luck getting my business, clowns.
V.P. from Target who put out the statement for the sycophant media.
Her responsibilities also include, according to the Target web site, "support the corporations retail and credit-card segments"....credit card segments, eh?
Well, Target can't keep crooks from taking over their customer's privacy--but Target thinks it knows best how to run a civilized, moral society?
Right.
Here, Walmart and Target are located close to each other.
Now I don’t have to decide where to go. I’ll just go to Walmart.
These companies have two choices, side with the American people (who voted for traditional marriage over and over again) or side with the judges (who are the ones validating the destruction of marriage.) Apparently they want the business of the judges. So let Target sell black robes. I’m done with them.
Do they also want Jerry Sandusky pardoned and released because he is an even more special subset of that subset?
JC Penny has actually changed back to being family-friendly.
Is Target under the same misperception as most of America? I think they’re in for a not-so-great-for-business surprise.

Americans Have No Idea How Few Gay People There Are
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/05/americans-have-no-idea-how-few-gay-people-there-are/257753/
In surveys conducted in 2002 and 2011, pollsters at Gallup found that members of the American public massively overestimated how many people are gay or lesbian. In 2002, a quarter of those surveyed guessed upwards of a quarter of Americans were gay or lesbian (or “homosexual,” the third option given). By 2011, that misperception had only grown, with more than a third of those surveyed now guessing that more than 25 percent of Americans are gay or lesbian. Women and young adults were most likely to provide high estimates, approximating that 30 percent of the population is gay. Overall, “U.S. adults, on average, estimate that 25 percent of Americans are gay or lesbian,” Gallup found. Only 4 percent of all those surveyed in 2011 and about 8 percent of those surveyed in 2002 correctly guessed that fewer than 5 percent of Americans identify as gay or lesbian.
The Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, a gay and lesbian think tank, released a study in April 2011 estimating based on its research that just 1.7 percent of Americans between 18 and 44 identify as gay or lesbian, while another 1.8 percent — predominantly women — identify as bisexual.
Because some people in government are now hostile to marriage as God defined it, in order to protect godly marriage we must remove the power of the State to define and regulate marriage. Then anyone will be perfectly free to enter into whatever relationship they want. However, they will not be able to call upon the police power of the state to force me to recognize a “marriage” that I know is theologically illegitimate and morally repugnant.
If we remove government from marriage and return it to the private sphere where it came from, lesbians can still marry each other, but they won’t be able to use government to force me to sell them wedding cake or artfully photograph their “marriage”. They will be free to do as they please without being able to coerce anyone else about their private affair.
But this was never really about marriage. For homosexuals it was social engineering and payback. They could bust marriage as God defined it, they could rub Christianity’s nose in it, they could punish people who objected and they could force anyone who was too vocal to shut up. But what they really want is approval, and it just galls them that a lot of people will never give it to them.
Didn't Amazon or Google also take a similar stand? And Mazilla fired its CEO for supporting traditional marriage?
I have found in novels inserts about gays that are not relevant. The latest is Harlan Cobin's "Missing You." Right near the end of the novel he had a speech for the readers about joys of gay love that was irrelevant to the plot. I hate it when authors lecture readers.
It took some googling, but she does appear to have a husband:

Supports queers, is queer.
JC Penny went LGBT long ago. They’re the same as Target now is.
How does a person boycott a place he never goes to as is?
Target lowers earnings forecast, revises data breach costs

Not surprising. You know they support the right causes because the Unions leave them alone and focus on Wal-mart.
Why do corporations want to have an opinion on politics?
Have they all been blackmailed by the left?
They want people to think they have changed back to being family friendly anyways
Dear Target: Please stop promoting issues that you should not be involved in. Do not tell us to accept gay marriage and if you do, prepare for a boycott.
Amazon CEO is a lib kook, but he hasn’t afaik put his business in the way thereof.
Target screwed the pooch with me. They have competition, and I will DEFINITELY avoid Target now and go to their competition.
