Asd the film community battles to keep Hollywood close to home, another local industry adult entertainment -- is fleeing Los Angeles.
The number of permits issued for adult productions has plummeted since November 2012, when voters approved a measure that requires performers to wear condoms on sets.
Last year, 40 permits were issued for X-rated productions in the city and county, down about 90% from the estimated number of permits issued in 2012. And through July of this year, only 20 permits have been issued for adult productions, according to data from FilmL.A. Inc., the nonprofit group that handles film permits for the city and county.

Porn stars wearing condoms? How will you recognize them?
Porn is no longer Politically Correct in California because it does not support the Gay productions exclusively. Gayness must replace male/female sexuality you know.
The attractive blonde reporter in the video is Brittney Hopper...not a bad “porn name” at that
The prudes did not push them out —it was the leftist, micromanaging safety Nazis.

The porn kings can’t compete with the filth on TV.
Obama???

Many people who work in the “legitimate” film industry in the Los Angeles area often worked in the adult film/video industry as a means to earn money to pay the bills. Now that this new law is driving many people in the movie industry out of Los Angeles County, the “legitimate” movie industry will wonder why there is a dearth of experienced people needed to produce new movies....
Not as if the movies they were producing were all that great in the first place.
There was an interesting murder movie from the 80's that featured Melanie Griffith as a porn Star. Body Double. The lead character is an actor who falls in love with the porn star, gets hired for a role in her movie. They have a passionate scene, and the director and producer realize there was no 'grand finale'
Funny and suspenseful. Rated R
I guess the industry has gone soft...................
Brittney Hopper does seem abreast of the issues here...
“When it’s bad it’s good and when it’s good it’s great!”....Mae West..................
There is also the fact that live webporn and free webporn is killing the whole “adult film industry.”
Very difficult to compete with free...
