Gee a retired doctor wants to run for office, and start at the presidency.

If Dr. Carsen decides to run this nation will see racism not seen since Robert E. Lee surrendered.

6 presidents never held public office before becoming president
1. George Washington
2. Herbert Hoover
3. Ulysus S. Grant
5. Dwight D. Eisenhower
6. Zachary Taylor
7. William Howard Taft

Some of these guys were pretty darn good presidents. So I don’t buy you need experience to be a good president. In fact, sometimes I think inexperience might be a good thing.

We went through this with Herman Cain. Looked great, then the Democrats started looking through the women in his past, and he folded quickly.

Give me somebody who has already been vetted. Somebody who has already had Dem operatives going through his trash cans looking for dirt. Somebody the Dems have already done their best to destroy, like Palin, Cruz, or Scott Walker.

I’ve been pretty turned off by the RUN BEN RUN radio commercials. The only thing missing was Billy Mays.

Forget it. I caught Hell when I was dissing Herman Cain for POTUS. I have nothing against Cain, but just felt that he should run for Senate, Congress, or Governor first before running for POTUS. Same thing with Carson.

I am sick of professional politicians. I like Sarah because she was conservative and was true to who she was. I like Dr Carson for the same reasons.

I know that he will have a learning curve to contend with, but if he is good at reading character, and is able to choose qualified conservative people who are experienced in the various fields needed to run his administration (i.e. military, economic, foreign policy) - then I am willing to give him a chance. The “vetting” process is the primaries - the media has already, or will turn all their guns on Dr Carson the second they think he is an actual viable candidate.

If he cannot handle it, it will become apparent fairly quickly. But, as of right now, I like him. He seems honest, conservative, intelligent, has guts, and appears willing to stay true to his beliefs.

As to experience at running something in the real world, I don’t know what his responsibilities are as the Division Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at John Hopkins - but it sounds like he must not be a total idiot to have gotten where he is.

Nice man, believes Trayvon was a “victim” and guns are bad. I know Trayvon was the attacker not a victim and after chasing off a family of racoons from my cats dish on my enclosed deck am looking for a gun.

Until a black candidate has the guts to challange the Martin/Zimmerman myth perpetuated by the regime I won’t consider supporting any black mentioned thus far.

Don’t Ben. You can’t win and we need to unite behind a strong candidate early on. 2nd. Amendment and illegal issues demand someone strong who is unafraid to take on the Democrats and undo this damage. Sadly, you’re not it.
