Syfy's "Sharknado 2: The Second One" has become the channel's most watched original movie of all time, easily beating the results of the first film.

I don’t do drugs but if I did, I would want what the people who wrote that movie were on.
I’m actually watching it On Demand at this very moment, and all I can say is that Sharknado 2 is the greatest Sharknado movie since Sharknado!
I guess we all know what Glenn Becks lead story will be today..
Due to those great ratings, Sharknado 3 is go.
Amazing how the sharks don’t suffocate while in the water-free vortex spinning at hundreds of miles per hour. One can only suspend belief but so far.
As a Jerseyan, I have to say “Jersey Shore Shark Attack” was even more outlandish than the Sharknado movies. It was “Sharknado” with Italian stereotypes.
The only way to make it better would be to have cameo appearances by Lou Diamond Phillips, Kris Kristofferson, and maybe Erik Estrada. Farcical comedy - good stuff.
Probably that movie INSPIRED the Sharknado producers....they tried to appeal to a wider audience.
That’s a nice lookin shark.
Yep, a real man eater...
I know I’ll end up watching it some day since I’ve watched every lame-o movie these guys come up with, but Sharknado wasn’t their “best” - their “best” was Mega Piranha!
Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has old MacHeath, babe
And he keeps it
ah
out of sight.
Old Ben would probably be devoured by that shark— but not until after I get in a few licks.

SyFi loves outlandish monsters and one of the best was Sharktopus (shark/octopus hybrid). I predict a Sharktopusnado in the future.
Or become shark-cicles at the altitude the airliner was at.
Sharknado makes the science behind the GI Joe cartoon look credible.
We went to the Rifftracks of the first one and I haven’t laughed that hard in years. I hope they can do the sequel.
wow, she is stunning? who is she?
She, Tara Reid, was in that Sharknado movie.
