Northwestern University will offer “gender-open restrooms” to its students this fall.
“We are trying to be responsive to the needs of all of our students and to be inclusive,” campus spokesman Bob Rowley said in an email to The College Fix. “This is becoming a common occurrence on campuses across the U.S.”
At Northwestern, the two sex-segregated bathrooms to be changed will simply have their front door placards replaced to reflect the transition – no major renovations are planned. The bathrooms are located on the third floor of the university’s main building that serves as the campus hub.
Northwestern joins the estimated 150 campuses across the nation that now offer some sort of gender-open restrooms, also called gender-neutral, unisex, or all-gender bathrooms, according to a tally by the LGTBQ group Stonewall at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
But while advocates convey them as mostly “single-stall, lockable restrooms available to people of all genders,” it’s clear many are also sex-segregated bathrooms converted to open-gender ones, as is the case at Northwestern.
The concern among some female students who now must share restrooms with anatomically male students is apparently not significant enough to put the brakes on these transitions.
“We received overwhelmingly positive information, and so we went with it,” Devin Moss, the director of Northwestern’s LGBTQ Resource Center, told the Daily Northwestern. “We didn’t really get any major concerns.”

A restroom is where one goes to urinate or deficate, acts which should be done in peace, quiet and security. These cross dressing, faggot infested dyke dens called gender open restrooms do not meet that billl. They are nothing but hangouts for perverts.
So if a woman is trying to avoid/escape an abusive boyfriend or husband, she no longer has the female bathroom as a refuge. Just saying.
A more crass version is that girlfriends at a bar/restaurant won’t have a place to gather to “dis” their dates.
And what about the safety of children??????? No longer can you send your kid off to a public restroom by themselves, no matter what their age. (And yes, this “gender free” bathroom idiocy is happening in elementary schools throughout America.)
Notice the image of the presumably “transgender” person - half skirt, half pants. You can’t make this stuff up. And isn’t an abhorrent sexist stereotype to assume that all women wear skirts? (I should shut up; some LGBT activist will read this, will agree, and soon the symbols will be changed to nude figures in order to eliminate clothing stereotypes.)
I feel sorry for the janitor that has to clean that one.
Remember when we were a reality based culture and had only 2 genders? Now we are turning our bathrooms into insane asylums.
Might as well just piss in the hallway and not worry about it.
No one in his/her right mind would be demanding that women of any age, allow men (regardless of their level of sexual "transformation") expose their genitalia next to them in order to use their restrooms.
Since I don't think the push is to allow biological women to stand beside them at the urinals, but then, I could be wrong and these women without a penis might be demanding to use a urinal - they are that nuts!!!
To most normal humans, the profound differences between people, provide much of what makes life interesting. The complementary differences between the sexes provide both human continuity, as well as the most important foundations for human happiness in the present.
Feminism, in promoting this sort of insanity, is truly a War On Love & Reason.

There should be bathrooms for heterosexual XY males and bathrooms for heterosexual XX females.
The perverted can do whatever they want as long as I don’t have to know about it.
The recent morphology of “feminism” has become less about equality of the sexes and more about the bashing of men. Modern “feminism” is really culturally-acceptable misandry.
A better idea: since the Left like to throw "science" in our face as an answer to everything, start labeling the bathrooms XX and XY. Regardless of how one identifies one's gender, you literally can never change the orientation of your chromosomes.
Heads would explode the world over.

That’s binary thinking, and you are just not with it to think there are only 2.
