Ruh-roh! I hope you are getting the crisis resolved! I’ve just had one of my laptops die recently, so I feel her pain!
However, got a Macbook to replace it [my first Apple laptop] and my guru/preacher friend recovered all my stuff from its hard drive that wasn’t damaged. Whew!
So far no luck...I’m typing an appointment request right now to the guy who takes care of my computers. *sigh*
